Charlie Fox's used to be the BEST pizza around but for the past year the pizza is very hit or miss. When it's a "miss" it is the worst pizza you can imagine: the dough is old or just plain bad it is like cardboard cracker crust, the onions are like they were freeze dried and can't be chewed and they try to make up for the bad dough by putting waaay too much olive oil on the dough. Came for dinner after a busy soccer tournament weekend with a couple of our boys on a Sunday, dine in was not too busy. We had a great server that was patient and very attentive. Nice atmosphere. Amazing pizza!
In a city (Chicago) known for their pizza and with endless options in every town, Charlie Fox definitely separates themselves from the pack. Some of the best thin crust you’ll have - not paper then, but not to thick…jussst right.
