The guy working the window tonight (12/26-7:00pm) started yelling and name calling when I told him I’d rather order something else after I saw him making a sandwich with no gloves on. Literally insulted me in Spanish behind the closed window as if I couldn’t hear or understand. If I wasn’t with family it would have ended differently for the little drive thru boy. Never eating at a Frankys again. Fire him.

Stopped for a quick byte when going down 64 (North Ave.) Everything was fine, just nothing special. I got the hot dog special for $11 which was a good deal. 2 hot dogs fries and a refillable fountain drink. The hot dogs were standard Chicago fare. The dog itself seemed a bit thin, I am thinking maybe 10 to the pound. The Chicago dog with everything consisted of a plain bun with no poppy seeds, plain relish, tomato, large chunk onions, mustard, sport peppers celery salt, but no pickle. All acceptable and certainly satisfied, just nothing stands out.
What was really good, was the fries. They are actually just plain fries (no seasoning aside from salt) on the thicker side, but they were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside, steaming hot potato goodness on the inside. No grease seeped into the middle and they were delicious eith a little ketchup. The oil seemed fresh and tasty. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed simple fries done right.
I always appreciate access to refills on the Pepsi products at the fountain. The place seemed clean and well maintained. Some of their other prices seemed a bit high, but the hot dog special was a good value for what you get. They did not realize I was there for a while and I had to get someone to take my order, but other than that the service was good.
I would stop again if in the area.

St Charles really needs a good Gyro Place. I love the Pizza slices from Frankys but got Gyros from them twice and both times they were burnt . They use cheap quality Gyros because I have been eating Gyros for over 30 years and this is the worst Gyros I have ever had. Paid almost $17 for a Gyro Meal and had to trash it all.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would, guy in the drive thru has no respect, prices are crazy high for what they offer, rather go to chik fil A half for the price and better quantity chicken strips. Guy in the window was very disrespectful when i asked how much was it and when i told him thats was too much for 2 cheese burgers kids meal and chicken tenders. I been here and every time its been a bad experience with these guys. Loosing more business every time.

Food was over priced and cold . Hot dog comes on paper no tray , bit into it and it was freezing cold . My BF got a mush burger and mushrooms were cold burger fries were limp and oil cooked it I can tell was old. As a restaurant industry worker for 23 years I hate leaving bad reviews but everything was terrible. was very disappointed .
