The food, literally had no flavor… as a Mexican restaurant, how can the meat and guac, el pastor have no flavors? Eating this good reminds me of getting covid, where I couldn’t taste anything. ?

First of all, the food was very good. While we typically eat weekly at upscale restaurants, we were actually surprised at the overpriced menu. The casual location and environment likely caused that reaction. The furniture is very cheap looking and casual. And the restaurant feels more like a little diner than a more upscale restaurant. the prices are definitely upscale. The fact that everything is à la cart is disappointing for a Mexican restaurant. Especially rice and beans for five dollars extra For each. An additional $10 per plate for a small serving of rice and beans is frankly insane. We ordered queso fundido, Enchiladas, flautas, and tacos. All were very good. The meats are all cooked beautifully. We just feel like the customer is getting nickel and dimed to death with everything being an extra charge (Including chips and salsa)

We had a nice dinner here. The waitress was very friendly and did a good job checking in on us. Wife had steak tacos and I had steak fajitas, both were good. I am sure we will be back. Didn't think it was outrageously priced compared to some restaurants these days.

Kind of a hidden charmer. I wouldn't have found this if friends had not told me about it. Glad they did. The food was excellent especially the steak, which can be risky at times in type of cuisine. It was not overcooked tender and juicy.The service was attentive but not smothering. The prices were on the upside but the quality of the meal justified it.

Lupita's Cocina has become our weekly go-to restaurant. The guacamole appetizer is very flavorful, and you get a good amount of it. My wife loves the shrimp in diabla sauce, while I alternate between the enchiladas nortenas and the carne asada. We have never had a bad meal here, and the service is always exceptional. Also, I don't know their secret, but Lupita's Cocina has the best flour tortillas!
