You feel like you are in Ireland. Really amazing vibe and ambiance. Live music on the weekends. The food was great. The service was so friendly. A really outstanding experience. Definitely would stop by again!

Absolutely horrible service twice in a row. The second time was the last straw.
2 people in our party ordered soup to be brought out ahead of time. After waiting for awhile we asked the waitress about it and she claimed she would tell the kitchen to bring it out now. They brought it out with the food anyways
3 of our 6 orders were incorrect. They made the absolute wrong thing for one of them and switched 2 burgers. The food runner grabbed the burger with his bare hands to try to switch them which is absolutely disgusting and probably a health code violation.
After 45 minutes we finally got the other 3 orders and 2 of them were still wrong and the food was cold. There was member any offer of a discount or anything. No manager came over. Just a weak apology from the waitress.
On the way out, the manager said “have a good night” and none of us acknowledged her. She then said “tough crowd” in a snotty tone. We then told her about what happened and she didn’t care.
Dont bother coming here. You’ll get mediocre food and it’ll take forever and probably be wrong. Again, this is the second time in a row we’ve had an experience like this here so it wasn’t just an off night.

Best fish and chips and Reuben sandwich! Best part is they do not use seed oils (with the exception of a few veggie dishes). They fry in beef tallow and/or ghee! LOVE THAT! Delicious food - I don’t know why we waited so long to try it! Love this place!!!

Met a friend for lunch to catchup together. Both had the combo lunch. Watermelon Salad and Half Turkey Sandwich and Soup and Half Sandwich for friend. We both enjoyed our lunch. Great feel for an Irish Pub.

You can never go wrong with a good Irish pub, and McNallys definitely fits the bill. Service was excellent from beginning to end. The menu is relatively small, which is a good thing. Traditional Irish fare is obviously at the heart of the menu. I had the fish and chips which features a huge piece of , perfectly crispy and flaky, fish. The reuben sandwich was also delicious. Super tender and tasty. Beer was cold and perfect.

2nd visit for our anniversary and this place hasn't disappointed. It reminds me of my old haunt in Lincoln Square -- The Grafton, which no longer exists. I am so happy to find a successor in St. Charles.

The Rueben is amazing especially with the sweet potato fries! Potato Leek Soup hit the spot! Delicious Food and atmosphere! Our server, who I believe was an owner was unfriendly! Didn’t offer any specials and when we decided to split the sandwich gave a disgusted grunt.
