We stopped in for dessert and drinks! Was surprised to see donuts on the menu . I ordered a black and tan and was disappointed they didn't pour it right. No Tan lol but understand not everyone is a pro at pouring that. Still went down the same , just aesthetics. Def stop in for a bite and beer service was good!

Loved this cozy pub! Nestled in the down town of st Charles it's a great place to get a bite to eat and enjoy so Irish classics. They have a great variety of drinks including some Irish classics like hot whiskey and spiked apple cider . Clean pub with, good seating & tvs for watching sporting events !

This bar is the worst place, the button of the list of all the establishments in Saint Charles and does not deserve any patronage!I visited this place last weekend with friends who were coming in from out of town. We were looking for a place to eat and have a drink or two. The place was packed and a very loud sad band was trying to entertain the crowd.The young waitress that came over to take a drink was very rude and was not going to let me sit with another couple. I had just asked the couple if I can share their table, and they welcomed me and ask me to sit with them! I was about to buy them a drink, when the bouncer, an ugly 6,5 200 lbs intimidating guy showed up and said he was the owner and that I had to leave!Of course I left, but he was very rude and even grabbed my coat jacket. I asked him nicely to Not touch me but he persisted and started calling names and swearing at me!Of course I will never return to that dumb ever! I hope no other customers experience this again! And if you don’t want to experience this, DO NOT Go to this dive!

My wife and I wanted to try an Irish Pub on St. Patrick's Day. While the place was very busy (as expected), the food was excellent, warm and very flavorful. We had the Corned Beef and Cabbage plate and the fish fry. The fish was probably the best I have ever tasted with a crunchy breading and not greasy at all. The drinks were relatively inexpensive, and the service was very prompt and pleasant (especially for a St. Patrick's Day). We will certainly be going back!

We haven't had a fish fry like this since 2017 when we left Illinois. We lived in Lake County IL and had several places. Everything we are doing is in St. Charles, so Lake County was too far. McNally's is outstanding. The fish (cod) and the French fries were excellent. Best fish fry we have ever had.
Always a great time at McNally's! Service is friendly & fast, they accommodated a special order for no onions in the stuffed mushrooms, and the shepherd's pie was on point.

Pot roast was really good. The cheese curds and jam were great too. There is a slight step/curb to enter the restaurant from the sidewalk that was difficult for my older grandfather (was fine just something to keep in mind if you have a walker).

I think this place is amazing.... Excellent service. However, their portions are small for their prices, we're not talking about fine dining here we're talking about an Irish pub so I would have liked to see a little bit bigger of a portion.
