Came in store 3 minutes before they opened and made me leave until it did open, so I left, ( permanently.) Didn't know it wasn't open so they should keep their doors locked until it is.
I called to ensure it’s possible to do half and half for toppings with take-out. On the special instructions I marked half and half after calling minutes before. When I receive my pizza they ignored both requests for half toppings.

Excellent place for kids. Mine loved picking out their own toppings. The crust is also very solid, both crisp and chewy. Highly recommend for a quick lunch or family easy meal.

MOD PIZZA is awesome.
Mod pizza is such an excellent place to go. There’s so many varieties and combinations with all of their meat, veggies, sauces and toppings.
The staff at this location as many friendly and informative and hard-working. Our pizzas were prepared, accurately, and well fairly quickly.
The indoor seating at this location has many varieties. The bonus is that they have outdoor seating which could accompany parties of 12 to 15 people. It was clean and comfortable and great way and place to enjoy the pizza.
Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and seating is accessible.

This is the Chipotle version for pizza. The staff were great and patient, especially with customers who took a long time to decide how they wanted to build their pizzas. There are lots of options, including different crusts, cheeses, sauces, and toppings. I highly recommend visiting the website beforehand to decide on your options and save time in line.

Get their build your own pizza with the vegan Italian sausage. They do offer vegan cheese, but I’m not a huge fan of the texture. With the build your own you get unlimited toppings for one set price, about $12. It’s a great value, especially if you like a lot of interesting toppings on your pizza. Everything is very flavorful and the people that work there are really nice. Updated from previous review on 2024-07-27
My first time in this make-your-own pizza shop. I had a variety to eat from. I ate at the Batavia location which is an hour away but I have one near me in Mokena. Bon appétit!

The people who work here are very nice and get 5 stars, my complaints are about things out of their control. The pizza is very good, everything else needs improvement. This place is more expensive that the pizza restaurant in the Geneva Commons (CPK). Pizzas come in 2 sizes: too small for an adult (mini size) and too much for one person to eat, but not enough for 2 people (MOD size). They ask for a tip at the register which is fine I left one, but I think they should at least bring the food to your table, if Culver's can do it then a place like this should do it too. A place this expensive shouldn't expect customers to clear the table when they are finished, I did it just like I do at Burger King. After eating really good expensive messy pizza I wanted to go wash up, the bathroom was clean, but no paper towels just a lousy hand blower. You're serving messy food that people are eating with their hands please have paper towels, I really like to wipe the pizza grease from my face. So we have gourmet pizza, sit down restaurant pricing, too small and too big portions, all in a fast food environment.

Gross restaurant all tables are dirty trash over flowing employees shouting and talking inappropriate and rudely. I saw an employee vaping in the back and no one changes there gloves

We chose MOD as a late Sunday dinner place. We arrived, got our food, ate. The young lady making our pizzas didn’t greet us much less smile at us. Not sure if she was having a bad day or if she’s just not a friendly person. Their lemonade dispensers were empty as if they cleaned them out early. We cleared our table and put our trash in the trash can and our plates over the container meant for dirty dishes. We made sure to be courteous and left right before closing time. Upon getting into our vehicle which was parked right in front of where we sat, we saw the same lady looking bothered by the fact that she had to re-empty the trash and flipped over the dirty dish container in an angry manner. I’m not so sure she likes her job one bit, or at least it doesn’t seem like it. Pizza is great but customer service here is not what it should be.

The worker Megan really made my experience great. I really appreciate the time and effort she put into my pizza. Definitely the best worker.

As soon as I walked in, I knew that I was going to have an amazing experience. I was greeted by an extremely friendly employee. It was really nice to have someone acknowledge you and you can do the same. Without judgement. It was around 1:30 pm and there wasn't a line to order. I like things a certain way. I was lucky enough to have a young lady take my order. As we walked through the art of making my pizza, she would ask me if she was doing it right and if there was anything I wanted to add at that point. We had a great level of teamwork going. I knew that my pizza was going to turn out great. I chose the regular full size crust, Alfredo sauce, chicken breast, diced tomatoes, garlic and artichoke. I prefer my pizza to be cooked on the lighter side. I don't like a brown or burnt crust. I definitely don't like burnt cheese. My pizza was cooked to perfection. I sprinkled some Parmesan cheese on top. I really had to let it cool down otherwise I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. BRB I have to be brutally honest, We made a great team and we made an incredibly delicious pizza. I was only able to eat 1 1/2 pieces and I was going to roll out the door. At least I'll have leftovers to go with the leftovers that I'll have from Easter. What I really love the most about Mod pizza is that you can always switch things up a bit. It's not the same as traditional pizza establishments. But it does offer a variety of options that a traditional one doesn't have. Each one is a win-win for all involved. For me, it's all about taste and service. I appreciate the options for being able to choose your own toppings and how much you want of them. My pizza was absolutely delicious. All of the toppings that I chose blended together perfectly. The cheese melted adhering to the artichokes which is my favorite topping of all of them. The crust was cooked just like I asked. No dark or burnt pieces. I did have to use a knife and fork to eat it. Otherwise I'd be wearing it. I had a lot of leftovers, I'm definitely going to raid the fridge for a midnight snack. Mod pizza is worth every single solitary penny in circulation. Make sure that you sign up for the rewards on their website BEFORE you go!!
