Make sure to share salad as they are large enough to be their own entree. Food was delicious, atmosphere was casual enough to bring the family while also nice enough for a date. Definitely recommend!

So the wife and I went here for the first time earlier today and We were very pleased. Service was excellent. The place was spotless and we got to sit next to the TV so we could enjoy the bears game. Ordered a bunch of food and I can honestly say I was pleased with everything! I would like to mention that the grilled calamari was excellent. Not tough at all however, (and this is just my opinion) I think it could be even better if it was grilled a little hotter/ longer and was pre seasoned with garlic/olive oil S/P and maybe some red pepper flakes.. I felt like the calamari was prepared more for a low sodium diet. Other than that I am definitely going to come back!!! Oh and the Pizza was badass!!💪🤘👍💯

The inside is a little run down - feels like a hole in the wall kind of place. It was 6:30 on a Saturday night, and there were only 2 other patrons there. The service was friendly and prompt, but it felt like we were being watched over. Food was not what we expected for the price. The Cozze Alla Marinara appetizer was slightly spicy and good, and the mussels were quite large. Presentation overall looks good; however, the Veal Scallopini Alla Trulli dish was extremely bland with no flavor even with capers and mushrooms. Both meats were prepared on the dry side. The Torreamare looked beautiful and came with a lot of seafood, but the risotto was undercooked, and the dish was extremely salty, making it difficult to taste the seafood.

This is a review at google maps and the schedule posted here is not accurate. I lost 30 minutes of my time to find that they're not open until 3:30. I only can guess what else they don't care about if they don't care to do just the bare minimum.

I went from recommending this restaurant to having one of the worst dining experiences of my life. My in-laws traveled all the way from Holland to meet me, so naturally, I invited them to dine at this restaurant I had once loved. However, the service could not have been worse. The appetizers took an excessive amount of time to arrive, and one of them was the toughest, most burnt octopus I have ever tasted in my life. We had to immediately file a complaint because it was truly inedible. Shockingly, our concerns were completely ignored, and they didn’t even bother to remove the dish from the table.
Time kept passing, and I tried to be understanding, thinking perhaps they were overwhelmed (even though only about four tables were occupied). The reality is that the main courses eventually arrived, and still, our complaint about the appetizer had not been addressed, nor had they cleared our table. There was literally no space left for another plate. We were clearly unwilling to accept the main courses without having our concerns addressed first. At this point, the manager or owner came out and simply asked, “Are you going to take your food or not? Are you going to take it or not?” That was the only response we received.
They introduced this person as the owner, but I find it hard to believe that someone who cares so little about their business could actually be the owner.
Pizza was just ok. Could have been cooked a little longer.

Is this the same owner as the one in Arlington Heights? I really hope not. We drove out of our way just to experience this place... Positive minds positive hearts. And yet we got the experience we did not expect. I purposely left out a lot of negativity during our experience because I don't want to be 'that person". And honestly, we tried so hard to make this a positive experience.
I’m disappointed to report that our experience at this restaurant was quite unsatisfactory. Despite the waitress {Esmirelda) being kind, the service was notably lacking. We waited for our meals for over an hour, with no updates or attempts from the staff to check on our order. After inquiring multiple times, we decided to cancel our main courses and settle for just the appetizer pizza, which had also been delayed.
To make matters worse, the pizza oven appeared empty after other tables were being served pizzas despite our long wait. When we questioned the situation, the explanation given was that the kitchen was overwhelmed, but the pizza chef seemed calm and unoccupied. Ultimately, we had no choice but to leave and close our tab, which would have amounted to nearly $300 if we had received our meals. This experience was disappointing, and unfortunately, the restaurant missed out on our business as much as we did on a pleasant evening. (We paid for a bottle of wine and 1 appetizer) Not that I wanted anything free.... However I was surprised that she did not remove the cost of the $10 appetizer)

We had a wonderful evening at this little gem we just found ! The pizza is like in Italy - the dough is delicious , the best I have had around ! The trullia salad was delicious and tasty. Awesome experience!! We will be back soon ! Thank you
