Shima’s is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in the US, a true hidden gem for the Chicagoland area. The sushi is top notch quality, and the hot menu items are always fresh and delicious.
It’s always a wonderful experience to arrive at this place. At Shima’s Sushi they have people that will make you fall in love with the place, exceptional hospitality, and that it’s only a group of 3 4 people. It’s wonderful food that is always very and of true quality. Their extreme love for the customers makes it just a joy to go out and enjoy food at this place. The cordial people make the experience of maybe tying something “new” almost seem like a normal experience....
This is my favorite restaurant full stop. The quality and quantity of the sushi received is absolutely unmatched at this price point. Expect a little wait when things are busy, but it is absolutely worth it. My favorite is the Susan's roll.
