It is a fairly decent restaurant with a nice atmosphere that fits the Chicagoland area. Food was tasty and filling. Only complaints are that the fries were cold and I ordered to dine in but was served food in a bag which had my order of cheese for the fries separate, which isn't what was wanted. Food options are plentiful, and the menu at the register is easy to navigate. While there are better options, I do recommend giving this place a shot for lunch if you're in the area.

The Italian beef was mostly bread and no meat at all. The fries were all cut in small pieces. Very disappointed. Overall taste of food was good.

Great Midwest food at decent prices. Staff was helpful, friendly and professional. Guy behind the counter commented on my wife's dumb Garfield sweater and we saw he was wearing Garfield socks! Even gave us a little Garfield comic strip that we still have. =)
The beef and cheddar on a croissant was great. The bun has a little kick to it but is still good. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The soda machine is one of those that you get to pick your soda on the screen from multiple choices and also customize it. The best part about this machine was that it contained PEPSI products. I have never seen one that was PEPSI and I truly enjoyed having those opinions

The drinks at the drive thru are NEVER COLD OR FRESH!!! The gyros are decent. Breaded mushrooms are ok. Lemonade is always room temp and the sodas are never crisp and cold. Come for a gyros but I honestly could not recommend anything else off the menu. If your looking for a good Italian Beef keep looking cause this aint the place. Try Portillos. The drive thru takes 7- 10 minutes everytime. Or more if its busy. Its crazy all they gotta do is trim off some meat into a pita. Yet no matter what its minimum 7 - 10 minutes. On a great day its 3 stars. Normal day to day your looking at 2 - 2.5 stars.

Skippys was very good at one point. Now it's over priced and the quality is horrible. I used to own a restaurant and we proudly served Gyros. We also used Kronos meat exclusively for the best Gyro possible. They are not using Kronos anymore because I can taste the difference. I paid a few pennies under 20 dollars for a medium meal and it just wasn't worth the expense. I'm sorry Skippys but I won't be supporting you anymore. Best wishes
