It's back and better than ever. Steve the owner is a great host and they have a great selection of beer. Chris the bartender has great recommendations for any taste. They have a consistent rotation of live music and local talent. No food is available so eat dinner first 😉

The first time we played here, I was unsure how our punk covers of pop hits would land, but The House Pub is the kind of place that just gets it. The crowd is awesome and completely on board with us ruining their favorite pop songs in the best way possible. The sound is loud enough to properly obliterate the pristine production of the originals, and the bartenders keep the drinks flowing, which is crucial for the vocalists in the crowd who are attempting to scream-sing along. We love this spot!

Great place to go tp pay a $5 cover just to wait 10 minutes for a beer with 6 whole people at the bar. Its like they were asleep and spent more time bullshitting than pouring beer.

Stopped in after a show at the Arcada Theater. To my surprise they just got in. Table top trivia/video game machine I used to have at my Pub. Felt bad I didn’t watch the band because I was so caught up in the machine, but the staff and owner where superb people I had a great time. Crowd was a bit younger but that’s not a bad thing. Hands down one of St Charles best watering holes! Will be back next time I’m in town.

The hole in a wall late night option if it wasn’t for the attitude. Can you make something light and citrusy with Hendricks was the question. You know we’re not a cocktail bar was the answer. Hendricks on the shelf but they lack the imagination? I highly recommend McNally’s for a late night drink.
