The first time we played here, I was unsure how our punk covers of pop hits would land, but The House Pub is the kind of place that just gets it. The crowd is awesome and completely on board with us ruining their favorite pop songs in the best way possible. The sound is loud enough to properly obliterate the pristine production of the originals, and the bartenders keep the drinks flowing, which is crucial for the vocalists in the crowd who are attempting to scream-sing along....
Stopped in after a show at the Arcada Theater. To my surprise they just got in. Table top trivia/video game machine I used to have at my Pub. Felt bad I didn’t watch the band because I was so caught up in the machine, but the staff and owner where superb people I had a great time. Crowd was a bit younger but that’s not a bad thing. Hands down one of St Charles best watering holes! Will be back next time I’m in town.
