The Italian wedding soup is one of the best soups I have ever eaten. It’s a must! Thank you Cavataios for yet again great food and service!

We are from out of town passing town passing through and decided to give Cavataio’s a try and did not disappoint! Very friendly staff and great service! Salad bar was fresh and our food was great!

Amazing food! Try anything on the menu and you won’t be disappointed! Cavataio’s has been a part of my family for years! We’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and everything in between with the Cavataio family! Their food is always delicious and our order is always correct with take-out!!

An Italian-run restaurant where it is worth stopping especially if you are driving on Route 66 and want a familiar place to feel at home. The food and care is typical Italian but the owners (Caterina and her husband who moved to the USA about 40 years ago) have managed to adapt the cuisine to the American style to suit everyone's tastes. A decidedly successful exercise given the quality of the dishes served and the quantity of local people who crowded the restaurant (it was full at lunch and it was Friday). Caterina and her family have managed to bring the spirit of Italian cuisine to the other side of the world, readjusting it to the needs but maintaining the basic characteristics of our culinary tradition, an example of a successful entrepreneurial story that can only make us Italians proud ! There is really nothing super fancy about the salad bar but it is just so good that it makes me want to dine in there just for salad. The owners are super amazing people. During covid they made sure all of the area kids had lunch and they made the news. Their pizzas are pretty terrific as well as the service.

I would like to give them a higher rating to be honest. The only problem is they let different cooks use their own recipes. It can lead to them offering something on the menu and the chef not knowing how to cook the dish.Years ago I took my children's mother there on a date night after not having an opportunity to spend any time together; and after ordering one of her favorite dishes pasta con broccoli and receiving something that was obviously not that type a pasta but something but something that was made by somebody that did't know what it was, I had to deal with her being upset and console her because she was looking forward to the meal. It wasn't long after that we both learned how to cook it.It's definitely true that the smallest thing can change your taste pretty drastically when it comes to the white sauce.I plan on visiting there soon and hopefully finding something positive to say in an update of this review m
