The Hitching Post accommodated my nephews large wedding and reception over the weekend.
The owners had done an amazing job setting the venue up for us. Communication was great and always made themselves available in a timely manner. They are really nice and friendly.
I really enjoyed the entire experience.
I also rented cabin #4. These cabins reminded me of the movie Dirty Dancing. The cabin is clean and very well stocked with everything you may need to start you off. I was impressed with the thoughtfulness of a guests stay.

Good appetizers. Good wines. Pizza needs to have sause in it. ...no taste.
Came here on our drive home from st louis to Chicago and it was incredible! Had a few glasses of Eleventh hour, blueberry and rose and ended up buying a bottle of blueberry and eleventh hour. We also got the turkey panini and Italian beef and they were 10/10. Such a great vibe and highly recommend if you're passing through the area!
