Cool little place! However, 4 of us went into the diner, sat down, looked at the menus for 4-5 minutes. There were several employees talking up at the counter and no one even acknowledged us! So, we decided to go elsewhere. Really wanted to try it out, but now we'll never know. Damn shame...

Route 66 interesting place. The food was basic and ice cream a bit expensive. The service was good and waiter had a pleasant and outgoing manner.

Great place to eat after shopping. It has all the trappings of a 1950s diner, with additional decoration for immersion. Its swirling ice cream cone storefront catches the eye.The food is very reasonably priced, and was much better than I was expecting. Many of these throwback diners have average or terrible food, but this one was a surprise.

if 91 felony counts mean nothing to them, what could they think about hygiene or workplace safety?

Good luck ever getting the specialty soft serve. The machine is always down! It's become a running joke with us: What is your special ice cream flavor that we won't be able to get?

I’ll get to the food/atmosphere in a minute- SERVICE:Tip these friendly girls as if you are dining in a fine restaurant because they work HARD. It’s been many years since I’ve seen anyone work so efficiently. Their hands never stopped even when customers stopped them with a dozen questions. Reward them based on their work ethic, not the total cost of your order.FOOD: waited for a while to get our order but the food was served piping hot and the flavor was delicious. Meat was from a local butcher and you can taste the quality.Ice cream was great with a gazillion options to choose from.ATMOSPHERE: Decor is fun and very vibrant. Many photo ops.If you’re looking for fancy, this is not it.If you’re looking for a cheerful place that makes you smile- you found it.Bathroom was messy, but, from what I could see, they were simply too busy/under-staffed to go check them.Big downside: there was only one bathroom total… and a non-stop line of people waiting.PRICE: This review is only allowing me to choose $10-$20 or $20-30… this was about $20 per person before tips/taxes- of course, that depends on what you order.Only regret: not wearing pink/aqua to match the decor

Just ok. The burger was pretty good, but the fries and onion rings were not great. Pretty pricey for average food. Cool atmosphere. Waited over an hour for our food with very little attention or acknowledgement of our wait from the staff. At least we had the flies to keep us company! Fun music & ambiance, but not worth the price or the wait.

We were on the way back from Springfield il, we drove by and noticed a pink elephant so we turned around and found a cool little attraction with a delicious diner. Very recommended! Actually we are here right now again to look at the antique mall! Recommended

Used to be a good place for ice cream. New policy on serving size. 6 dollar sundae was puny. Looks like we'll be going to their competition in Hamel. Servings were very small. Told us owner said to make them smaller.
