“The most delicious bacon for 40mile radius at least. This is a find for us and a jewel for the local community. My wife had the pancakes (also with bacon, because everything has to have meat in on or on the side of it)...and i had the breakfast (that they serve all day - 2 eggs with bacon, toast and hash browns). perfectly done hash browns, eggs cooked over medium and then i tried the bacon and the grey wet day outside, clouds opened up, choirs sang and i was having an existential experience. Totally awesome. We left content, with happy tummies and didn't even care that it was raining outside. The lovely hostess was super attentive, and engaging and the place is spotless. if anyone is lucky enough to be stopping off in Effingham then take the time to drive a few more miles for a treat and support these gems. More of these places please...well done Emma's Diner!!”

“It was our second time dining at Firefly as we live on the Gulf Coast. We came for brunch with all four of us ordering off the brunch menu, delicious! Mushroom soup was outstanding! We were seated on the back porch which is lovely and it even snowed for us! Great restaurant and staff!”
