Second time attending The Firefly. Food was not as good as our previous dining experience. Seasonal Risotto should be amended. I had butterscotch risotto the last time and it was a 5 star dish. They should offer 4 risottos, one for each season. Keep them all on the menu all year for variety. Still one of the best restaurants you will ever eat at.
Recently, we visited Firefly Restaurant in Effingham, and the experience was utterly delightful, living up to its stellar Google Maps rating. The culinary journey began with a classic cheese pizza, which was a masterpiece of flavors, perfectly balanced and baked to a golden perfection. VERY nice place. A special occasion type place for sure but don't wait for that if you are in the area. Its not cheap but you pay for what you get!!! Already making plans this time to bring some friends.
