Sammy’s place. Pat behind the bar. Familiar faces, honest food, and the kind of spirit you can’t manufacture.
My dad passed away Saturday night. And fittingly, his last meal came from here — from a place that brought him comfort, laughter, and a sense of belonging for most of his adult life.
This wasn’t just a bar or a restaurant to him. It was community. It was consistency. It was people who remembered his name and poured his drink the same way every time.
Thank you to Sammy, Pat, and everyone at The Corner Tap for being part of his story. Places like this matter more than they’ll ever know.

It's a unique local spot that I have visited a few times. The food is great. The staff is excellent in terms of service and friendliness. There is a guy there that looks like the bartender from Cheers...it's pretty cool. Anyhow...I will continue to visit whenever in town and encourage others to do the same.
