Four of us had breakfast there today and were very happy with our plates. I had the Popeye Omelet with egg, spinach, bacon and Swiss cheese. Very good. The side was hash browns and they were just okay. Not bad, but not exceptional. They needed salt and pepper, which was no problem to add. The rye bread toast was chewy and exceptional. It was probably the thing I loved the most. My partner had the Meat Lovers Skillet and really, really enjoyed it. My son had the Lingonberry Pancakes and said they were delicious. Lingonberry is not on many restaurant menus, so that was unique. His wife had the Wild Berry Blintzes and they were just okay. I think it was the first time she ever had blintzes and she was not crazy about them. It was a good experience overall. The server was very attentive and responsive.

I wanted to try a new breakfast spot and since I was at Walmart I decided to try them out. When I first walked in the hostess was on his phone and and seems a little lost after I requested a booth he stared into a room of emptiness before picking the booth it took the waitress about 5 mins to greet us which was confusing to me because this place was empty I had then proceeded to ask questions about the menu and the waitress didn’t listen to my question and went to a rant about how they use real eggs unlike any other place around here I ordered the cream and chicken soup it had no flavor no matter how much salt and pepper I added no flavor I also ordered the two eggs and meat with toast I order my eggs over medium and got sunny side up and two sad looking sausage links the waitress messed up my 4 year old order I asked for grilled cheese and fries she brought French toast and bacon she took it back and make the correct order my sister was safe she ordered a waffle with fruit the fruit saved the waffle for her she also ordered bacon which was just bacon and slightly over cooked old tasting bacon and she ordered a egg scrambled wrost egg no flavor for a real egg also my nephew ordered the angus burger and again no flavor he tried adding salt and pepper to no avail portion sizes were decent except the two tiny sausage links my sister said it over all underwhelming and not impressing at all they need to clean a little better because there was dirty air vents and bugs in my light fixture above the table will not be going there agian also if it wasn’t for me having to give a star I wouldn’t of done that
The food was good but the second time we went there the service was not so good the server I felt ignored us and forgot some food items and we had to ask for refills..but the food is good

I think they just assume you have ketchup at home and can't imagine someone on the go etc. They don't like to honor your requests that you PAID for on to go orders.
A great local place. For breakfast and select lunch items. Service was good.

This gives you that good ol' "at home" feel. I had breakfast here with my daughter while I was there for work. The food was great and they provide nice portion sizes.

9/2024 4* First time here. Décor was ok. But instead of flowers on the walls, how about upbeat breakfast pictures? Eggs, Chickens, something. Looks very outdated. Website is saying it is still coming. Been open 9 years and no website. Ugh! I reached down to move my chair and the bottom I grabbed was so much caked on grease I had to leave the table and go wash up. It was a gooey mess. The food was pretty good. Service was ok. Nobody in the restaurant for the first hour we were there. Then 8 more people did come during the second hour. It was a weekday morning so maybe all just late risers. Probably won’t be back.

Skillets were good, the coffee was surprisingly good, and portions were huge. I got the vegetable skillet and enjoyed it quite a bit after adding some salt. The kids one egg breakfast was enough for an adult. I would share a skillet with my husband next time. Thumbs up.

We love Egg Basket for a quick breakfast/lunch option any day of the week. It's inexpensive and there's always a seat available when we walk in. We've gone in the morning on weekends and there's still seating available without a wait - although it does get a bit busier. The food is always good and there's a decent amount of options on the menu. Their skillets are delicious, especially the chilaquiles skillet. Coffee is always hot as well!
