Very disappointing first experience. We walked in and weren’t greeted by anyone. Servers walking by and didn’t greet us. We asked a server if it was seat-yourself, and she said yes, so we found a table outside.

After about 10 minutes, a server finally came over and asked if we were ready to order—even though we had never been given menus. We asked for menus, but she never came back. We ended up waiting another 20 minutes without anyone checking on us, taking our drink order, or even bringing the menus we requested.

Needless to say, we left without ordering. As first-time customers, this was not a great impression. Customer service and attentiveness need significant improvement.

Food was great! We sat outside and there were a lot of people being very obnoxious and rude. Our waitress was very honest which we greatly appreciated from being out of town. Would come back but maybe on a week day..

I don't make it to Illinois much, but we went to visit the pure hockey store a couple times and found Mickey's on Google. We went there both visits. Me, the wife, and the kiddo absolutely loved it. Had music playing at a nice level, cold beer, food was fantastic, waitresses were nice and prompt both times, and it was very clean. Lots of Chicago memorabilia and some neons, mixed with a softer lighting display, made it so enjoyable. I wished it wasn't 3+ hours from home. If I ever make it back to that area, we will definitely stop by again. Hats off to the crew and staff🍺

Mickey’s is not a good sports bar and it’s hyperrr local. People at the left end of the bar near the weird visible kitchen area get served first.

I was here on a Sunday for the afternoon NFL games but Mickey’s plays only the single live game across 30+ TV’s…laziest shit I’ve ever seen from a ‘sports’ bar. I asked why and actually have advice, but the bartender got real snippy complaining about Sunday Ticket pricing and margins. Actually, rude. And then went to end of the bar to talk about me with the yokels. Cool.

@Mickey’s - I won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend to others, but you should get smart rather than angry at your customers. And figure out a solution to mix up what is shown on your TV’s. I scooted over to Chicago Loop Bar & Grill ~3 miles away and they have their shit all figured out, and they also don’t have Sunday ticket.
