Wonderful breakfasts - everything was excellent. The eggs and bacon were perfectly cooked, the hashbrowns were crispy, and the coffee was delicious. I wish I had taken some pictures, but everyone just dug in because it looked so yummy!
The fish was delicious! The sides needed some help. The French fries were under cooked. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were under seasoned. The service was good. I'll be back for the fish and ask for crispy fries this time.
I want to love Al's place because it's close to home and they have specials that sound amazing. However, their pricing is higher than other places and the last few times I have been or ordered from there I have been greatly disappointed. Last week they had cheesey broccoli soup, I love cheesy broccoli soup so I ordered a large container of it and it was the most bland soup I have ever had. It also still had clumps of flour in it that had not been broken down and mixed...
