Had the Portobello Mushrooms & Supreme Pizza. Mushrooms were delicious(*would be better served with a horseradish sauce). Was so chalk full of toppings that I ate 2 pieces and was stuffed! And it was one of the best tavern pizzas I've ever had! And that's sayin somethin! A very small tavern with limited seating. Got the feeling the locals weren't too happy with outsiders finding their gem(I don't blame them!). Waitress was super friendly and very attentive. Even though they had a "Reserved Section" for a party! I highly recommend going out of your way to try them!

Met a dozen friends here to plan a group trip for next spring. Food was great as always. Clean and relaxed environment. Friendly hard working staff.

Today was the worst ever after 40 years of going here especially for the pizza. I was charged 20$ for a burnt pizza. Ruth never burned the pizza and my pizza cost 12.00$ last year compared to the high cost it's been raised to. I asked the bartender how much my pizza cost after she gave me my total and she said 20$ I said it didn't cost that much last time and she said you mean 20 years ago. Lady I was there for Ruth's going away gathering and that was last year not 20 years ago. The bartenders are very unprofessional. That was my last time it's just not Mike's place no more what a shame.
