the best people & the best food around. stop by for a soda and sandwich. I must tell you the truth, once have one of Mindy's or Amanda's you'll never order from anywhere else ever again. Mike's Place is home to the best cooks in the MidWest. Home of the best pizza around served with warm family smiles.

Had the Portobello Mushrooms & Supreme Pizza. Mushrooms were delicious(*would be better served with a horseradish sauce). Was so chalk full of toppings that I ate 2 pieces and was stuffed! And it was one of the best tavern pizzas I've ever had! And that's sayin somethin!
A very small tavern with limited seating. Got the feeling the locals weren't too happy with outsiders finding their gem(I don't blame them!).
Waitress was super friendly...

Met a dozen friends here to plan a group trip for next spring. Food was great as always. Clean and relaxed environment. Friendly hard working staff.
