This KFC at one time was the (my opinion) crown jewel of the KFC world, but the last few years it's went down the toilet , what a shame my daughter loves the mashed potato bowls which are so so since they stopped using popcorn chicken. Anyway it's food and the drive threw was for some odd reason was down this day as well.

Visited on Father's Day 2025, & not sure I'll ever return. I can honestly see why KFC seems to be a fading memory. The food was meh. Nothing near as good as it used to be. But the service is what ruined the experience for me. I guess I had the audacity to wait until I got to the window BEFORE I even paid to very politely apologize, & ask if it were possible to receive all dark meat with my order. The young, dark haired girl working the drive thru window just stared at me angrily, walked away to where my order was being assembled, aggressively flung a box aside, & I guess, set about the task of slaughtering a fresh chicken to complete my audacious request. Honestly, if I'd known if were going to ruin her entire day, I'd have canceled the order, & gone somewhere else. I was literally the only customer there, period, so there was no justification for her overreaction. I try not to make life difficult for people in the service industry, but there's no reason for someone to treat customers with disrespect, either, when they are perfectly polite, and apologetic.

KFC in central IL are all closed. Champaign,Bloomington/Normal, Peoria. Springfield areas are all closed. You tell me the #1 chicken restaurant doesn't have enough business to support a few in these major areas? I was able to get KFC driving home from Chicago by Midway airport a few weeks ago...and it was SOOOOO good. I'm 69 and have been a huge fan since my early teens. And I've had so many kinds of chicken from around the country. KFC is still my favorite.

The worker was so rude, she also rolled her eyes when I asked for a sweet tea because she forgot to put it on there, she also with my 3piece meal of chicken tenders only put chicken tenders needless to say the chicken was very bad and soggy and half cooked.

The food is always hot and fresh. The employees are friendly and courteous. The sweet tea always taste funny but I think it's their water. They need to use bottled water. Otherwise, it's a great place to eat.
DRIVE THROUGH TAKES BEYOND BEYOND TO LONG TO GET THROUGH i’ve never waited so long in a damn drive through it’s actually ridiculous
The food was excellent. The Dining area was very clean. The cashier was very friendly.
