“Great place! I never knew it existed, hadn't heard of it. Very impressed first time visiting. Food was delicious service was exceptional the atmosphere was casual typical bar/grill and friendly. Prices leave you smiling and we'll be back! Try it if you're interested.Wheelchair accessibility: Long sturdy ramp accessable.”
“I have been eating at this place for 5 or 6 years. Have found nothing to complain about in all that time. Whether I dine in or take out the experience is the same. It is the place I go when I feel a need for comfort food”
“I will not eat here ever again. We paid seventy-five dollars for our meal, and we only received half of it. The salads contained only a bit of cucumber and a piece of tomato, no cheese or croutons. Nor was the cuisine what I had anticipated. I would like at least excellent cuisine for seventy-five dollars. Everything appears to have been microwaved. Although it is advertised as the "best restaurant in town," I wouldn't suggest spending your money there.”
“Sushi is so the best for fast food for miles around. Although they did forget an item and when we told them they would not replace it. It's not like we were lying we live 39 minutes away to turn around. They gave us excuses why they would not give it to us which honestly wouldn't hurt them just to honor it....now I have to be honest and give a review. But damn it if their sushi wasn't so good lol”
“Great ice cream, I enjoy lemon the best, cherry is Good when in season , friendly service and always busy. Friendly staff especially Blake and Liz who always greet with a warm smile”
“Service was great was a steady afternoon and didn't have a long wait to order and get our food in a reasonable time frame. We will be back here again ?Wheelchair accessibility: My wife is in a wheel chair and we had no problem getting indoors.”
“Wonderful food, authentic Italian family-owned...many Italian restaurants in Taylorville, but this is my family's favorite. Oh, and Florinda is a real sweetheart!!”
“Excellent authentic Mexican food! Good seating, large portions, and excellent prices. The staff is always very friendly and attentive - they go above and beyond with excellent service. I wish we would have known about this place sooner. Although we are 48 miles away- it is worth the drive and is now our favorite restaurant! Highly recommended.”
“I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS JOINT. ITS SO GOOD I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START. I WAS ZOOTED OUT OF MY MIND AND CAME IN HERE FOR SOME NICE MEATS AND GOT JUST THAT. IT WAS SO GOOD IM DEFINITELY COMING BACK. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH.”
“This subway is the best subway I've ever been in!! The manager and staff work like a well oiled machine. You can get in and out and everything you need in under 5 minutes. The store is clean, organized, and the staff are the friendliest around!!!!”
“Good food and friendly service. Huge menu. Reasonable prices. Not many people there so I hope they are gettting enough customers. If you haven't eaten there I hope you try it.”
“The food and service was excellent! I had the Crab Rangoon appetizer and the Mongolian Beef entre. I had the bubble tea and it was very good, not overly sweet. The staff was very accommodating.Wheelchair accessibility: One of our group was in a wheelchair and was easily accommodated. There are ramps going in and space once inside that was comfortable.”
“I've not had any problems with any food that I have ordered. All has been good. Friendly to people.Parking: They have handicap parking spots. I don't remember if handicap door entry”
“Stopped here for some walleye on a Friday. Our waitress was awesome, fish was great, we will go back someday. Definitely a home town diner vibe, nothing fancy, pretty laid back. Oh yeah, you can also get a beer here!”
“We ate at Bill's for the first time because I saw the good reviews. This is not a fancy, yuppy, uptown place to eat. Understand that. It is a tiny diner that will transport you back 100 years to small town America. But I'm telling you, if you don't care about atmosphere, and just want a damned good cheeseburger cooked on a grill in front of you for a cheap price, or a luscious milkshake made out of real ice cream, hand dipped and put in a stainless steel cup to eat with a spoon, and just a simple conversation with the workers behind the counter and a friendly, "have a wonderful day!" as you walk out the door, this is your place. They are friendly and just want to cook you good, diner food just the way you want it right in front of you. Nothing fancy, just good. You won't leave hungry or unhappy. There's no vegan menu or cocktails...go elsewhere. It's the same as it was 90 years ago when it opened. It's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week no matter what. The cheeseburger was the best I've had in years. I'm vegan, but just had to have a good ole burger. They are huge, so I would suggest the small or regular size unless you're a football player with a huge appetite. They also serve breakfast all day. I didn't have the omelette, but watched one being made and it looked fabulous. Go here if you are in town and just want good old fashioned diner food. There are very few seats, so don't go during the lunch rush or you might have to get it to go or eat at one of the picnic tables outside. To find it, plug in the police station...it is next door. It is off the square.”
