“Normally I’d give 5 stars all around because everything is always beyond amazing! But unfortunately tonight, I had ordered the patio melt (cooked medium) and it came out to me basically charred to a crisp. The waitress (who we always have & is always just so wonderful) had taken my food back to let them know & they didn’t seem to care that I couldn’t eat what they failed to cook. But to brag on our waitress, she handled it so great! We love coming to Locals for the food & for the amazing wait staff! But to the cooks of this evening, please be mindful of how your customers want their food cooked. Because it wasn’t just my food that was poorly cooked, it was also my boyfriend’s food that was poorly cooked. I understand that y’all get busy, & I understand that wanting to rush through cooking someone’s food to get all of your orders out happens. But just take your time because at the end of the day, customer satisfaction is what keeps y’all in business.”

“Quickest service at a Mexican restaurant I think I’ve ever had! We stopped on a whim because it was nearby. Everything was delicious. The staff were super friendly and the food was incredible.”

“Took 2 of our granddaughters out for a treat. We got the playdough flavor ice cream. They found it humorous that our tongues turned blue while enjoying our bowls of afternoon delight. Since my wife can not eat ice cream, she had a blueberry scone. Sge said it was very good. We will go back again. Thank you for the fabulous experience!”

“They have the best flavors of ice cream. Authentic Mexican snacks that you can add to your sundae. But their Popsicles are the best ever. So many wild flavors and my favorite so far is avocado. They have acai bowls smoothies churro bowls you name it. Might have to stand in line but it's by far the best place in town to satisfy your sweet tooth.”

“My wife and I absolutely love this place. It's such a beautiful restaurant, and the food is delicious. My wife had the beef and broccoli, and I had the chicken fried rice. Both were so good. Our server was also very nice and gave us great service. We also got my father in law some to go Prawn fried rice (one of the few places in town that offers this dish), and he loved it. We hope this place becomes more popular, as it is truly a hidden gem in Springfield.”

“Nice little bar, has a cozy feeling with the wood and brick features but still seems like there is plenty off seating. Great selection of bourbon and beer at a decent price, not much else you can ask for in a local bar.”

“Not busy at all during lunch time and good food. Authentic options that taste close to what can be found in Mexico. Ask for the spicy salsa if you're into it. It taste good! Restaurant is clean and has good music.”

“Stopped in on a hot day road trip with the wife thought she would enjoy the video games as she is a nerd and well... I like to drink lol! A quick drink and some video games turned into A BLAST! “The pizza was great & 3 over people I was with were happy with the food. I complained about the awful Iced Tea that tasted like water. Was told that Everyone says that it has no flavor. That should clue the owners they need to do something about it. Was a big inconvenience to me because I only drink water & Iced tea. They shouldn't serve it or charge nearly $4 for something that has no taste. If I can't enjoy flavorful tea with my food, sorry not coming back.”

“Love Corner Bar. Well worth the short drive. Its clean, welcoming and friendly. They have drink specials all the time. Bree is a beautiful, welcoming hostess who is part owner of the bar. Its a hidden gem in Divernon Illinois that needs to be discovered by more people. Local businesses need to be supported!!”

The only thing I would let the restaurant know is they had a woman panhandling out in the parking lot last night. There were 4 of us so we didn’t pay much attention to her but she followed another older couple to their car She is probably harmless but if you were by yourself it might be a little scary”

“Nic Place to stop on a hot day for a cold beer. One of the cleanest bars I have seen in my travels. Even the restrooms. Fast service & the food is good. It can get noisy on weekends but if your looking for a quiet place to drink, come during the week”
