“I came for a late lunch. Not many people in there , but server helped us right away and took our food order immediately. Food came out quick but not too quick. Fries were incredible. Nice seasoning on them and tasted real. Burger was awesome. Really cooked well high quality meat and a toasty bun. Very very good meal. Would recommend 10/10. Will be back if ever in toutopolis.“

“We attended a thank you dinner at the Effingham Event Center as volunteers with over 100 others. It was catered by Niemerg's Restaurant which is always great. They honored most everyone with small gifts.My wife and I volunteer at Enduring Freedom Ministries in Shumway. As a Master Mason our group volunteers for the blood drive held at the Event Center. I've done it the last two times. Several Masons from our lodge volunteered to install the youth reading stations at Lake Sara. We will finish the project in the spring. There are 25 stations for kids to read books which can be changed. It is in cooperation with the Effingham Public Library. At the end they will walk one quarter mile.My wife made 135 Christmas stockings for FISH to give to nursing home, assisted living, or hospital patients. They filled each with personal hygiene items, activity books, candy,etc. We love doing stuff like this by giving back to the community.“
“Only G*d and Peyton Manning get 5 star reviews.Limited beer selection, and I ate waaaay too much popcorn while hustling $100 from some local suckers at the pool table. I was pleasantly surprised to find such an inclusive establishment along my walk to DeKalb.Had planned to sleep on the roof, but couldn't get comfortable, so a truck driver offered me a ride. Well, it was the middle of the night when the beer and popcorn farts hit and they tossed me out of the semi.... Are there mountains in Illinois????? I have NO IDEA where I am at!!!“

“Went there for the first time on Valentines Day. Had the blackened fish sandwich with fries, wife had the gyro. It was very good! It was very busy when we arrived but only waited a short time to be seated and our food came out quick and hot! Our server Nicole F was GREAT! Loved the open layout of the restaurant. Will definitely be back!“

“Had our wedding at the effingham event center in February and it was the perfect place. We had rented the big room for our reception and it comfortably fit all our guests. The staff was great at the bar, and Mark was very helpful answering any questions we had. Great place for a wedding reception!“

“Just passing through and staying one night in Effingham, IL. Walked over to the TK Grille for dinner after a long days drive. We both had a cocktail; me a Moscow Mule (best I've ever had) and my husband a Manhattan (delicious as well). For dinner, we both liked the idea of the Sirloin Steak Salad (cooked to medium and with the balsamic vinegarette on the side). We really, really enjoyed ours! Dessert of Chocolate Chunk Brownie Sundae was amazing and the best brownie we both have ever had ?“

“We just happened to be traveling by to Effingham from Bridgeport IL and decided to stop and eat. They had all you can eat fish buffet and it was very good. My husband loved their fried potatoes. Waitress was very pleasant and great service. Nice Bar and Grill.“

“one of the greatest places on the planet. looking for young people? they're here. looking for old people? they're here too. the shuffle board and other games outside are always fun. whether you're just relaxing or power drinking the bartenders are always friendly and don't forget to try the Apple pie shots and bloody Mary's.“
