“Had a fabulous experience at The Top Of Rocs with family and out of town friends following my husband's services. My sister made arrangements with Tammy from out of town and Brandon was super helpful that evening. Would recommend working with these two any time.“
“I love this bar. Sometimes there are crazy people in there but I've never seen a fight break out. The bartenders are usually pretty cool, they had one done years back that was pretty rude but he was the only one I've met. The drinks are pretty standard, dollar draft specials, drink specials (nothing too crazy). They pour good drinks there also definitely not a place to skimp on the booze, they also fill the draft cups to the top with beer and not foam like some places. Oh and the beer is cold too. Thursday they have karaoke and sometimes events but they aren't advertised well however you can always get in even if you have nothing to do with the event.“

“We were in town for Tour de Charleston 2023. This was my first time at this bar and won’t be my last!! They offered beer or non alcoholic drinks to all racers! Im much older but it was nice to be in a bar where it seemed like an actual party lol sooo that being said check this joint out young or old. “Every college town in America has an Ike's Bar and Grill. There's a good reason for that, and Ike's in Charleston, Illinois does more than a sufficient job of filling the gap when you're looking for a cold beer and a reasonably priced, tasty burger. The service is prompt and friendly. The place has a hint of nostalgia, since it's been there forever, so the atmosphere is really cool. There's nothing shocking about the menu... sandwiches, burgers and a handful of tasty fried appetizers. We had the mozzarella sticks which are definitely a cut above the average cheese stick. The owners of Ike's could easily run to Gordon's food and stock their freezers with that type of product, but instead, they choose to step it up in with the quality of their food, and it shows. We dropped our daughter off for her second year of college, and we discovered Alex last year when she was a freshman. It's now pretty much a stop for us every time we're down there. I guess at night, Ike's turns into the university's Greek bar, but in The early evenings or late afternoons, it's filled with regulars who understand the value of a dollar, and appreciate a really tasty sandwich. My wife and I each had two ice, cold beers, some mozzarella sticks, two burgers, and a basket of onion rings, and the whole dinner cost us under $50 with a tip.“
“The restaurant and bar are beautiful! The staff were all extraordinary! They were extremely busy and still accommodated a group of 30. The food was delicious! Even my VERY picky grandson cleaned his plate. I also heard several comments about how good the prime rib was. I personally had the salad bar and it was so fresh and delicious!! I applaud everyone who helped with our party and still maintained your sanity!! This was our first time here and we're celebrating my son turning 21. We will definitely be back. Will just be a way smaller bunch next time LOL. Seriously, thank you all!!! You rock!!!!“
“I haven't been to Stix (AKA Panther Paw) in years, but this was THE place to go when I was a student at EIU many years ago! Drinks were flowing and delicious, prices were excellent, pool tables and gaming machines were available, you could dance just about anywhere you wanted, the patio always guaranteed a good time, Tuesday Trivia offered some of the best weekday entertainment around... what more could a college kid ask for?!“
