College bar! Long Island and rum and coke were very good, food was good but underwhelming. Dining room is clean yet not designed for comfort. Restroom had no lock on door and no seat on commode. Won't make a special trip to go back.
We were traveling back home and wanted a good bar burger. Ike's sounded like a great choice when we searched. The establishment has history, which I like. I would recommend it. The burger was cooked exactly like I ordered. Our server was so nice. I asked him what was good, and he took the time to tell us what the best lunch items were. Burgers, wraps, pretzel with beer cheese. There was a party going on, so it was definitely a very friendly local bar. Onion rings were great, too....read full review

Every college town in America has an Ike's Bar and Grill. There's a good reason for that, and Ike's in Charleston, Illinois does more than a sufficient job of filling the gap when you're looking for a cold beer and a reasonably priced, tasty burger. The service is prompt and friendly. The place has a hint of nostalgia, since it's been there forever, so the atmosphere is really cool.
