Like/Follow them o FB for periodic Fri & Sat late afternoon - evening hours as well. Closed Sundays.I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered @ Muddy Waters - whether specials or on the menu and the price is right.Include great staff & the setting of the Savanna Marina that feeds into the Mississippi River & backwaters…AND…is at the Trailhead of the Great River Bike Trail - you can’t beat it.Although I only uploaded a pic of one of their periodic specials - Al Pastor (pork) tacos, you can check their FB feed & FB reviews for pics of other menu items!And for customers w/ children, the restaurant also offers kids menu items.“

“Wanted a quick new place to eat. Found this hole in the wall. It was more then that! The food was great. The atmosphere was inviting and employees very pleasant. Got or food nice and hot. Service was exceptional. Will return again.

Parking: They have more then enough parking. With 2 entrances and exits.“

“We stopped at several Burger Kings from California to NJ and back again. As long as the dining room was open, we are there. We were on motorcycles and needed to get out of the heat and sit down for a meal. If the dining room was closed, we traveled on. I don't remember the specific situation here.“

“Feel a little sad that the Ronald McDonald bench was removed those things are so rare to see in McDonald's these days. Anyways, the food doesn't really matter here it is just like any McDonalds you might come across in the USA. The inside is beautiful and is definitely dedicated to the new town. I love the mural of the bridge currently. It is also one of those upgraded McDonald's popping up recently that has ordering TVs inside as an option which I highly doubt will be used in a small town like Savanna Illinois. The only issue is just like before the remodeling, the place doesn't get cleaned sometimes and like the hardee's in Clinton Iowa the floor is sticky.“

Update (5/16/2024): Went through drive thru and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot and one car in the drive thru. We waited a few minutes before they took our order. We placed our order, paid at the window and received our pops. Then we had to pull ahead and wait some more. They were not busy. So why did it take so long? Anyway, the food was actually pretty good and hot. The servers were nice.“
