If you’re wondering why Al’s beef has been closing locations it’s not because they don’t have good food. It’s because they don’t keep up with their restaurants. This place like other locations, is dusty, wall paper is peeling, the LED lights on the exterior don’t work, and the bathroom is dirty. The whole interior is outdated and needs a gut job. Look at this photo of the bathroom sink, it says it all. How expensive is it to replace a crusty corroded faucet?
First time trying Al's. Food came out fast and there were definitely huge portions! The big beef itself is already more than enough for me. Although, compared to the fries, the beef felt less seasoned, and there was little heat coming from the hot giardiniera.
Vegetarian options: Impossible burger and fries were probably the only options.
