This place sucks
The female bartender was very professional and friendly.
The service was outstanding and the food was very good. We were treated like royalty!
This restaurant is the go to place when congregating after spending the day at the expo. The food isn't great, but the staff is friendly and it's hard to beat the proximity to the expo center.
Clean and friendly environment. We stopped in for lunch after setting up for the 2019 Food Show. Good eats and drinks, but could've cooked the burger to the customers request the first time.
Brought my elderly dad and was quite shocked at how awful breakfast could be. Skillet breakfasts are made with raw vegetables that are almost rotten, swimming in grease, cold and the coffee must have been from last week. There is a reason it was empty!!!
Great place to come and eat
Fantastic!! Definitely will be going back!! It was worth every cent. The food was in abundance and delicious! The kids had a great time too! The Mother's Day brunch was exceptional.
We were there for the Easter Brunch event. The waitstaff was awesome (shout out to Tasha!), and the food was delicious. The bar service was awesome--a build your own Bloody Mary Bar and a Mimosa bar to boot. The only downside was the coffee...it was so thick it was like mud, and this is coming from a former manager for a large coffee shop chain; I like black coffee! But this was just undrinkable. I'd also liked to have seen more for the kids part of the event...it was pretty laid back. Overall, I would definitely attend next year, the value, food, service, and waitstaff were wonderful. But, if you're looking for huge activities to do with your kids on a holiday...maybe plan an extra visit after brunch!
Sometimes I try to give an establishment a second chance, but after my last visit, it now confirms why I won't be returning. The breakfast buffet looks appetizing, but that's about where it ends. Most of the food was warm, but not hot. And believe me, it's aggravating to sit down and 5 minutes later, your meal seems like you just took it out of the refrigerator. I will say the made to order omelette was very tasty. If they have the opportunity to read this, hopefully they can look into some of those issues.
Restaurantji Recommends
We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Tinley Park. After having been to a wake until 8pm we were hungry and tired and decided to head back to the hotel to eat at Bananas Restaurant. We noticed that it had poor reviews so we were a little apprehensive but found the food and cocktails to be fantastic along with our waitress/bartender Angie. Although it was a slow night for the hotel and restaurant we still received our food in a timely manner and it was hot and delicious! Angie was super friendly and I highly recommend Bananas Restaurant.
Food is just ok. way over priced. service was the worst ever. only time in my life I left no tip. a trained baby could have done better.
Had a grest experience due to our friendly server Susanna who made our lunch and stay worth while. We had great food, fun drinks, and friendly conversation from our wonderful waitress, she was the highlight of the trip thus far.
Good service and food
Had surprise 85th Birthday Party! Had breakfast, so many choices on the buffet, plus
