I eat her periodically, today the server tried to give us a lemonade someone did not want. As a server she should not have tried to pass it on especially not knowing the person took a sip of the lemonade before she gave it back. The drink was moved to the cashier area and she tried to pour the drink for someone at our table. Unacceptable.

The food was delicious! I got the steak and shrimp hibachi combo. The chef was very friendly and ensured all of our food was cooked the way we wanted. Great portions as well.

Didn’t get the chance to eat because I was thrown off by the short hostess with the glasses who checks people in. I told her I had a party of 2, then she said where is my other person. I said that they were outside. Then she had an attitude and told me that they need to come in now and I said okay. As I’m texting them telling them to come in she keeps proceeding to tell me he needs to come in now. I’m like okay they are. So I called him. As I’m waiting by the door the lady keeps shouting my name across the restaurant. I told her he’s coming. Like I don’t know if she had a bad night or what. I even went up and apologized and she didn’t even respond. Again it was the hostess who was short with the glasses. Not sure what race she is. Her skin is very pale.

It was my first time the food was good the servant was good placing us as a large party was not so good we enjoyed ourselves getting ready to leave I noticed that the owner and the lady was looking at us in an angry way if we was taking up too much time hurry up eat your food and get out the looks on their face was not good their culture is different from ours I am African-American it was a party of 15 of us and it was slightly rude warning that table for them to have the next party to come in I understand that it's a turnover but the way they looked at you is really sad and it's sad to see this when we are out spending our money and makes you feel the same way that the ladies feel when they go and get their nails did their culture is different from ours and it's sad but we still spend our money there once again my experience for the first time there was excellent the food was excellent and I will go again but now that I know how they want you to get up and leave real quickly maybe I won't be with a bigger party and it won't take as long for us to leave out a couple wheelchairs was with us so they have to be a little bit more patience with people other than that it was it was a great experience

I had heard so much about Hamada's but I was not impressed. It seems rushed, especially from the wait staff. I see why they have a 15 minute waiting period. Probably would never eat here again.
Everything was just fine - Food was good, my guest had a good time. But - what made me mad was that the Bill automatically included a “service charge” of 18% of the bill - if you don’t pay attention and add a tip, that could be double that %!!!!! The management should be ashamed of themselves for doing this! If you go here - watch out!! I will go elsewhere for this style of food!! They just lost me as a customer.
They need more ventilation!!!!!! The service was ok but probably would be great if they had more people working. The server didn’t come back much. I use to come here all of the time. I was disappointed in the fried rice. It was literally chicken rice an egg. No onions sprouts etc. it lacked flavor

If you're a fan of hibachi and live in the south burbs, give the good people at Hamada a try. Came here with my family for dinner and we had a great time. Sure you'll smell like smoke when you leave, but that's part of the fun!
This place is on par with Benihana, Ron of Japan, etc... Which means a great selection of food dishes, a sizable number of drink options, and a price point of ~$50 a person. I went with the steak and shrimp, but everything I ate here was excellent (i.e. veggies, fried rice, salad) and they give you so much that you will have leftovers for sure.
Even though the place was packed, the service was quite good. I never saw the bottom of my water glass, and the staff always had a smile on their face. Huge fan of Hamada
First time here. It was amazingly awesome. Will be my 1st choice of restaurants. Loved it.
