We did dine in when it first opened. So, we tried take out, but it was not as good a couple of years ago. The hot is hot with no taste at all, the seasoning seems to be water down - woo pig sooiee isn't what it used to be. We over $400.00 & we very disappointed in the product. We bought the food at 9:30 pm, maybe that was a factor. Sauce wasn't thick, I got a bag of hot, 3 bags of medium, with extras in a couple bags.
Everything was delicious. My fiance and I split a bag and finished the whole thing. We went on a Sunday and the place was not packed but a good crowd was there. Prices were good too. We had 2lbs of seafood, appetizer,, drinks, and extra vegetables for 115. Not bad AT ALL!
The waiter was good. He took out orders and brought everything out as requested. We tipped him well. Ordered appetizers and they were enough to let us know we didn't want an entree. The shrimp, Gator bites and chicken strips, all had the same batter. It was crispy however, it was flavorless. My sister said that's why they give you a bunch of dips. I should've known when the lot was empty this wasn't the place to be.

I used to like coming here mainly for the sauce but now with the changes that have been made I no longer see myself patronizing this business. The changes that has been made was no longer selling just the sauce and when its your birthday in order to get a free dessert you have to make a purchase. Which is not how it used to be.

After spending the afternoon buying a new car at the nearby Carmax, my wife and I looked for a place to have dinner, and came across the Saucy Crab.Food and service were okay, but reason for giving one star is because when we received the bill, there was a 15% Service Fee tacked onto the bill. When I questioned, the server mumbled something about being for the kitchen staff. And the bill had a space as usual to add a tip! As a rule I typically tip 20%, because I have done time as a server in restaurants, and my adult kids also manage restaurants. But this pissed me off, so needless to say no additional tip was added. Another review mentioned that there was a sign(s) saying the service fee would be added automatically, but I did not see anything.As this place is pretty expensive, you are forewarned about this Service Fee. A $150 food and drink tab for example is going to be $22.50 once you sit your butt down, and then they'll expect an additional tip!
