My wife's family frequently visited the Little Joe's location located at 63rd St. and Richmond St. during the 1970s and 1980s. They had visited other locations over the years, but they considered the 63rd St location their preferred dining option when dining out.Last Friday (2/17 ~7pm), I called to place an order for a 16-inch thin-crust pizza with sausage, onions, and green peppers from the Tinley Park location. The total cost of the pizza was approximately $31. They gave a time of 30-40 minutes. It took 45 minutes.Pros:- The staff demonstrated a friendly and courteous demeanor.- The pizza was handed to me hot and surprisingly maintained its temperature during the 4-mile drive home.Cons:- The pizza crust lacked flavor and resembled cardboard. Consequently, halfway through, I finished eating only the toppings. I gave my dogs the crust. I am curious about what their thoughts would be, though dogs will eat anything.- The pizza sauce was so bland and devoid of any discernible spices that I'm not sure what it needed to improve it.- The dining area appeared outdated and in great need of renovation. Several overhead lights were either intentionally turned off or malfunctioning, resulting in inadequate lighting.

Consumer Review ..

They close at 9:30 PM on Fridays.... Placed an online order at 8:45 PM for delivery, well before their closing time, and they cancelled the order shortly afterwards. Apparently they close much earlier than advertised. Please state so on your website!! Ordered from Jets and received 35 minutes later. Nice to see a pizza joint open on a Friday night. Never again Little Joe's...first time customer is now a never-again customer with a story to share.

I've been going to little joes for many years! Delicious pizza. But I just came from there ordered a small pizza. NEW menu said $18 for small LJ special pizza. My check said $23. 85. WHATTT DONT STEAL FROM THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR OVER 30 YEARS!!! She said they sold! Machines were closed down AGAIN! So sad that a lifetime established business goes bad owner doesn't care. Sad! But WATCH THE PRICE ON THEIR MENU VERSUS WHAT THEY R CHARGING YOU!!! Shame on him!

First time at Little Joe's. I had a birthday dinner for my son. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, we ordered pizza, and a few different dinner items. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing. Can't wait to go back.Kid-friendliness: I have 2 toddlers, grandchildren. The waitress was very accommodating and so friendly and sweet .

Well I have been coming to Little Joe’s since 1975. I lived right near the 63rd and Richmond location. Later I moved to Oak Lawn still would always drive there to pick one up. Later I moved to Oak Forest and them to Tinley great. Now I moved to TN. My first stop when I visit is you know where LJ’s. Do miss being close always had at LEAST twice a month oh that thin crust. See you at Christmas.

Anytime we go to Little Joes we have such a good time. It’s also an added plus when someone is there singing. It’s a great restaurant and everybody just talks with each other and has a good time.

The food sucked my grandson got a cheese pizza it was burnt on the ends I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce not one bit of meat and I could see the water running from it and it tasted terrible and the waitress was ignorant to me I used to go there all the time but I have not been there in two years and I will never be back and I have over 50 years in the food industry.

Needed a last minute Funeral luncheon and they really stepped up to the plate. It's hard to find a place that will do family style and not buffet. We needed room for 60 people, and Abe was very accommodating, even to the extent of closing down the whole restaurant for us. Food was phenomenal, and there was plenty of it. They even accommodated making something special for the 3 children. A special shout out to Sue for staying on top of things when making the arrangements.

The restaurant needs renovation and a good cleaning. We had to ask for someone to take our order. The pizzas were OK. Came lukewarm. Their focus seems to be on the bar and the slot machines.

This was our first time ordering to go here. We ordered a large stuffed pizza with cheese only. The pizza sauce was so salty we could hardly eat it. After a few bites we felt sick. I tasted the said on the top all by itself and it was defiantly the sauce that has all the salt in it (not the cheese or bread). Considering the reviews the only thing I can think of is whoever made the sauce put double the salt. It was horrid. A waste of money on a pizza that has to go into the garbage. We don't like wasting food but what else can we do? I consider myself a person who loves salt, but this was just way too much. If this is their "regular sauce" then be sure that you love tons of salt before ordering here.
