I've been going here all my life(34 years old). I used to live behind it and i would spend all my allowance money here. Gyro plate with grilled onion extra pita and 2 extra sauces. The owner is super nice and the service is fast. Can't go wrong with a big mickey(burger) its nice and greasy! This place was rated by the tribune as the best gyros in Chicago! I have had them in Greek town and this blows them away. Also the other locations are not nearly as good as this one, so I won't recommend them.

It pains me to have to write this review because I've been going to Mickey's since it was the old small building and have loved there food for over 30 years. A few years back I noticed the food quality was starting to slip but it was still a great spot with decent food. But unfortunately my last two experiences have been the exact opposite. The food just isn't good anymore and the last times have left me disappointed. I don't want to say a Tinley staple is starting to fall off but it appears to be the case after speaking to friends and family about the same experiences. I will give it another try in time because I have a lot of history and memories there but I guess good things can't last forever.

I work less than half a mile away and have tried many restaurants in the area. Just had the grilled chicken pita, words cannot express how awesome it is, to try a new restaurant with little expectations and they come through! That was the best pita bread sandwich ever! Thank
Quiet place. Clean, but needs music. Ordered the big mickey. It's a double Cheeseburger with grilled onions. It's okay. Didn't like the bun. The meat was dry. Maybe it was precooked in a bin. It didn't taste fresh. Flavor was good. Maybe try the gyro? They looked good.

I have been trying to find a good gyro place since Alexander's on southwest highway closed. Most of the places sell something that looks like it came from Sam's Club family pack gyros kit. Mickey's is one of the best places I have come across in my travels throughout the U.S.

I try to go when it isn't busy. dinner time it gets crowded. I get the gyro plate there. It's the best. The gyro plate is too big for just 2 pitas. I order 2 extras and still have meat left over. I had a coupon but it was on special so the owner gave me the cheaper price.

Typical greasy spoon. A staple in the neighborhood. Their food is usually fresh. And a reasonable menu. Not tremendous on flavor, but with so many people with allergies, you must dress it yourself. If you have a taste for gyro or a burger made to order, it's nearby in the neighborhood.Parking: Always a place to park.
