Great hot chocolate. Adorable grandma vibes and decor. I hear you can come in for a tea party and I think I just might!

Amazing coffee, I tried the Apple latte and it was a wonderful mixture of flavors.

Robust coffee beans , menu provides plenty of variety.
Complementary prices, but you get what you pay for .

What a cute and cozy little coffee shop 💗 ☕. The caramel apple latte I ordered was amazing. I will definitely be back.

Place has a weird smell. Not too expensive but not too cheap either. Coffee is okay but not tasty enough. Taste more like ready made coffee. There's def a lot of other tastier options. I'd rather pay for starbucks than here. Place looked a lot better on pictures. This is not bashing. I've been to a couple local places to know which coffee place is good😅

Cute tea room with plenty of options. We made a reservation for Saturday afternoon. There was no wait and quick service.

A very cute little place, but maybe a bit lackluster for the prices. The food was good don’t get me wrong and I do understand that the portions on an afternoon tea are meant to be dainty and cute, but for the price I expected a few more of the mini entrees than were included. The mini charcuterie as well, while I understand it is meant to be mini, seemed to just be a couple slices of meat and cheese thrown on a board with store bought crackers. The drinks are included with the price of the afternoon tea, which is awesome, but the day I visited the drinks came out VERY sweet, which could just be due to the barista that day. Additionally, the coffee my mom ordered came lukewarm, not the biggest deal, but not what you want when you order a hot drink. Overall, it was a good experience, but for the price I was hoping it would be great. Definitely check it out, just make sure to be specific with your preferences on the drink order and order a lot of food if you want more than a snack.

Pekoe and Bean is one of the best local tea/coffee shops around. My mom and I go there often. The menu changes every season and the food is always really good. I love going for the coffee and the drinks are always creative and fresh. The desserts are great as well. Staff there are super friendly and the owners are very nice as well. Highly recommend going here.

As a major shift from Eggheadz in terms of my reviews, Pekoe and Bean instantly took place as my friend group's new gathering spot. A few weeks after Cavallini's closed down in September, my friend and I (this particular friend is my main partner to go to cafes with) visited for the first time. At first the visual experience was strange, as the place has all sorts of inconsistency , from the furniture to the walls. However, soon the look started to come together. The furniture made it feel like you have your own unique chair or table, and the lovely art they hang on the walls is for sale in support of local artists. The staff are also absolutely lovely! Chances are very likely that if they aren't busy, you can have a great conversation with various staff members! The drinks are great, and rotate seasonally. Their food options are solid from what I have had, but I don't get their food frequently enough to say for sure it is 5 stars.

All in all, this place is wonderful, and when my friend(s) and I are out, and we ever don't know what to do, our default is Pekoe and Bean. An excellent alternative to Cavallini's since it had gone.

Edit: food from 4 to now 5 stars, 5 stars in totality from me!

Adorable tea room with a great vibe. Ill break down our experience by first saying we had fun and my daughter just loved it and we would return but probably just for tea . Im a foodie and a chef so I can be a bit critical but all in all everything was fresh and tasty. The portions are very tiny as others have said.. but it’s a small independent business not some big box chain so someone is personally assembling your meal and washing your dishes. This is why they can charge what they do. They use cute little china plates and tea cups and such. There is very limited staff( maybe 2 people?) so you may have to wait a bit but that’s kinda the point.. sip your tea or coffee and slow down. I like that.

We got a mini charcuterie board, a pot of peach tea, and we each got a meal. The food was very fresh and plated nicely. I wouldn’t recommend the charcuterie board… it says assorted meats and cheeses but it was 3 slices of Swiss cheese, 1 tiny Tablespoon of whipped cream cheese with everything bagel seasoning on it, 6 club crackers, 2 pieces of salami and one piece of prosciutto. Just not worth the $13. Assorted should have at least 3 cheeses and 3 meats.. my suggestion would be slice your meats and cheeses super thin and it will go further and at least allow each cracker to have a topping. If you are looking to get a big salad and soup combo this is not the place and I don’t think they intended it to be that. As I said the food was fresh and we loved the tea but with tip our bill was $70 so just not something we personally can do every weekend. But we will absolutely be back in for tea and coffee and maybe a muffin just to enjoy the atmosphere. The tables were full and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. They also have adorable small party rooms in the back that would be perfect for a small baby shower or birthday party if tea time is your thing. Overall I recommend giving them a try. We enjoy ourselves.

I have never had a bad experience with any drink, food item or server in my entire time coming here. The attention to detail with the menu and seasons is impeccable. I know cucumber sandwiches are a simple thing but whatever they do to make them here is MAGICAL. I've had Galintines here with my Grandmother, High Tea with a friend, and several to go plates since 2020 and everything is high quality. The quality of the coffee surpasses that of Dunkin or Starbucks. I have asked the barista for recommendations and never had a bad drink. The special blends of teas are also great, I look forward to the Yuletide blend every year. They do tend to get busy so if you want to spend some quality time and sit, enjoy the food and drinks with someone, its best to make a reservation.
