I'm not sure where the order is coming from but someone is instructing the staff to go light on the meat when Potbelly has a BOGO special.
Potbelly from time to time has a BOGO special. So being a potbelly fan we decided to take advantage of this. Two sandwiches were ordered for pickup through the app, Avo Turkey and an Italian.
When I get home and open my sandwich, we were greeted to the most pitifully filled sandwiches. The Italian, I kid you not, had 1 slice of each of the 4 meats. The Avo turkey legitimately had 1 slice of turkey on it.
I get it, I technically only paid for 1 sandwich, but that doesn't mean you can go and do the bare minimum when constructing these sandwiches. Ive ordered from here many times so I know how they typically fill these sandwiches but when the BOGO comes around they always skimp on the ingredients. I'm very disappointed and plan on going to the further location in Orland for all my sandwiches.

I'm so disappointed. After a long day of work and on a hot summer night I had a taste for an Oreo Shake. The Potbelly closest to me is located at 15901 Harlem Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477. They close at 9pm. I arrived at 8:54pm and was told they stopped making shakes at 8:45pm!?!?! I was told to drive another 10 minutes to the Orland Park location since they close at 10pm. They are located at: 15825 LaGrange Rd, Orland Park, IL 60462. I arrived there by 9:10pm, and was told they stopped making shakes as well for the night. I told the young woman behind the counter that I was told they should still be making shakes since they didn't close until 10pm. She said... no, we stop at 8:45pm as well. I don't understand. Is this Potbellys policy all over, and if so why isn't this disclosed on the front door next to the hours?? I wasted my time and gas. Since Potbelly didn't want my money, I gave it to Culvers who had no issues making an Oreo shake that was just as delicious...if not better😊😋

Slow and unprofessional, rude service. Don’t eat here. Eat at Jimmy John’s that is near by. For context, I eat at a potbelly almost every day, I love it, but never again will I visit this location.
I waited in the office, to the side, for 18 minutes, for an order made online. I watched multiple people walk in after me, order in shop, receive their sandwich and pay, despite me having ordered my sandwich prior to any of them.
Finally, I stood in line to be helped. As I walked up for my turn, and my sandwich was now finally ready and being handed to me. By now 20 minutes had gone by and I voiced my displeasure to the associate. She turned to a male associate by the oven and he stated that refunds get handled after the fact and nothing could be done in the moment. Confused by that, I clarified and asked that they confirm I’d be getting my refund. The male associate, seemingly bothered that i brought a concern about waiting 20 minutes for an online order, reluctantly confirmed and stated I would get a refund. As I replied that I heard his confirmation, he flippantly stated. “Now you have a nice day.”
I understand this can be claimed as a standard greeting in a customer service scenario, but I’ve been customer facing for over 20 years in my role and I can assure you, the male associate was being instigatory, hoping I would react to his rude behavior. I didn’t react though, but wanted to share my experience to warn other loyal potbelly goers. Do not eat here, they don’t value our business at this location.

Honestly had the best experience yesterday. Came in with my big family and they made it so easy for us to order. They brought us down the line quickly and efficiently. We had asked the lady manager what flavor shake was her favorite and she told me the new banana shake. I trusted her word and gave it a try! Best shake I’ve had in a while. My family and I recieved the best experience yesterday 3/15.
I went in with my son to retrieve my birthday rewards and some points. The cashier was very sweet and provided great customer service. The cookies we got were very delicious too.
Ordered online and got there at the designated pickup time 10 minutes later. Sat and waited over 20 minutes to get my sandwich. I watched them make sandwiches and fulfill over 5 walk-in parties before they even started making mine. I understand not getting the order done by the designated time, but making me wait to prioritize people walking in while I'm sitting and waiting is pretty terrible customer service.
My husband and I received a Potbelly gift card for Christmas and have never been to one, so we figured why not try it out!
We went on 1/9/25, got 2 big sandwiches and a strawberry shake. The food/shake were great as were the employees! We will def be back next time we are in the area!

I was greeted right when I walked in the door. Angel took my order and was very pleasant and polite. Deante worked the topping station and they both guided me through the process. It was very helpful because I haven't eaten Potbelly in some time. I ordered The Wreck and it was very flavorfull and fresh. Thanks guys I'll have a good start to my day because of you two!

Visited this location on 10/31 and never again. The only friendly person is the young man with the tattoos. The black lady working there has no people skills and didn't acknowledge me walking in the store or getting in the line to order.

As I came in on the afternoon of September 19, 2024 going into the 7pm hour I wanted to get two bowls of vegetable soup. as I walked into the establishment, I was hardly greeted, let alone friendly to be exact. Once I was asked what would I like to order I told them. Now instead of informing me what I insist on purchasing was out of stock they proceeded to let me wait in line. There was a young black female supervisor that had a horrible attitude. She didn’t even bother telling the employee let alone me as the customer that the item I was out of stock. She needs to work on her attitude as well as the young lady who initially greeted me which I believe her ethnicity was Arabic. This has to be my first time in a while going to this potbelly location and I did not appreciate the service. They decided to speak amongst themselves as to whatever they were talking about annd side eyeing me like I did something wrong ; instead of properly informing about the item not being available . The gentleman who I believe was Mexican at the register was THE ONLY POLITE PERSON who worked there. It should NOT have taken HIM to tell me the item was out of stock because I seen the Arabic young lady ask the supervisor something and they proceed to go back into their duties . No explanation just nasty looks and side eyes from the females .

Ordered two sandwiches and a shake through the Potbelly app from this location. They deliver with DoorDash. My order comes, one of the sandwiches is missing. Driver tells me to call the shop. I call the shop and they’re sorry, but can’t redeliver since they use DoorDash. So I can get a refund or I can come get it. Defeats the purpose of having it delivered in the first place if I have to come fix their mistake. Tried going through the app for the refund but *shocker* the app says call the store directly. You’d think they have a better system of correcting these mistakes since this isn’t a new process.

I visited the shop 8/16 around 11am. The staff and the manager on shift were amazing. They helped me with any questions I may have had and also suggested sandwiches that I’ve never tried. They suggested I tried the Mediterranean and it was very good! Thanks to the team this is now my favorite sandwich
