Wow! This place should not serve food. The Shepards Pie sounded great on the menu but in reality turned out to be bad chili with instant mashed potatoes on top! YUCK! My wife had three little sliders for 16 bucks! White Castle would have been 3 bucks. Beer and cocktails were okay and service was great because there were only 12 people in the place for the MNF Bears game.

Worst bartender ever! 3 tap beers took for ever to run card and get back to us, the place was empty. BTW the smell was terrible in the place.

The old Teehans was better. They removed darts and slot machines. The place is too basic now with no charm. Service and food is good though

They have some pretty big growing pains to overcome. Food was blah. Shareable queso with Pico and chips was barely big enough for one. Patrons and their music choices don't fit the Irish inspired venue.

I miss the old Teehans. It now feels like a hotel bar completely devoid of the old charm. Also tried to order a glass of wine, but the bartender didn't tell us it was only available as a bottle, so I ended up paying $50 for a bottle of wine I didn't want (that costs about $15 at the liquor store down the street) and drank way too much.

The place looks and feels great. Clean and roomy. Great bartender Jess, attentive and high energy. I had a Harp which I used to drink in the 90s :) Will be back for the food, menu looked good!

Out with the old, in with the new. The transformation is not just amazing, but the Guinness is poured and served better than any Chicagoland Irish pub (yes better than Fados and Gaelic Park. New soft opening si let’s hope they continue with clean line authentic Pimt of Guinness (time will tell as they get much busier). Waitress knew her Guinness and was second to none!!! Atmosphere was exactly like being in a Co Mayo pub, just amazing transformation. Big question is in any soft opening l, can they continue this? I worry. But for now you will not find a more true Irish pub anywhere (in my 35 years of going to Ireland every year) in Chicago & Chicagoland that beats this places pint of the black stuff. Enjoy and Slainte!! Owners don’t let the bartenders slip on how to pour a proper pint: amazing start!!!! Last but not least Alex the Pub (not bar) manager rocked! Took time to talk for more time than I should have kept him. Great place.
