FYI they changed ownership and have a new menu that is much shorter. It's now just a handful of appetizers, a few burger options, and a generic breaded chicken sandwich. I was really disappointed that the French dip and steak sandwich were both gone. I got the chicken sandwich and it seemed to be tenderized or thined to the point where the meat itself was less than a quarter inch thick at the thickest part. There was way more breading than chicken. The flavor of everything else was decent though. There were fresh pickles that were really good. The fries (seemed to be fresh hand cut) were great. But wish there was more/better quality chicken and more options.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. We originally wanted to attend Rib Fest, but the line was too long to get in, and more lines to get something to eat. We left Rib Fest and found a comfortable booth, a friendly smile from our waitress and hot food that was fast. We will come here again.

The food was not worth what we paid AT ALL!!
We sent our appetizer back because we asked for it to be made without blue cheese and it came out loaded with blue cheese. The server did admit he forgot to tell the cook. We told him we no longer wanted it.
I asked for Thousand Island on my salad. It was terrible.
My husband ordered the lake perch sautéed in butter. It came out breaded perch in butter.
Our bill was over $80 and our soft drinks were served in plastic throw away cups!
We were highly disappointed and will not be back. We would not recommend to anyone.

This place is a fooler. You can easily drive right past it and miss it - but don't! Inside is a quaint neighborhood bar. and restaurant. The friendly, efficient staff, outstanding food, and fully-stocked bar keep regular clientele coming back again and again. Order shots or an espresso martini - no matter - the bartender treats you to a perfect pour every time. As for the food, whether chips and salsa or filet mignon with a creme brule dessert, you won't be disappointed. There's ample seating in the dining room, or mingle at the bar. There's also a banquet room and free off-street parking.
