“One of our favorites. Wide variety of beers on tap and always a few specials on mixed/specialty drinks. Excellent menu with lots of options and they’re all good. Burgers, wings and pizza top our list with a great salad bar. Staff is awesome. Always a friendly welcome and great service.”

Im a truck driver that had the pleasure of stopping here for a sandwich and it is then that I met two of the most wonderful people, The Manager Becky and An Employee by the name Bethany. I want to thank the two girls for their great customer service and kindness.”

“Last weekend we stumbled upon this adorably cozy little winery in the country! Sonja and Dan were such sweet and welcoming hosts. We sipped on a perfect Norton while getting to hear stories about the history of their winery and the legacy they’ve built (including their kiddos and how they both serve and protect our country in various ways). It was refreshing, relaxing, and it was truly like catching up with old friends! Thank you, friends, for having us and for keeping it “real” and what a picturesque spot you have. It was the perfect afternoon and we will be back for sure. ♥️🍷”

“Carnitas is in essence grilled pork... with some seasoning. Here it's the acme of pork done well... tender and juicy in the inside but well done... slightly crisp in the outside... you like BBQ (...a lot of it ispork). You HAVE to try carnitas, here it's done like nowhere else Ive tried... and Ive tried it in many plsces both in Mexico and east n' west of the Mississippi...”

“I had eaten in this establishment many times while it was under different ownership. Known then as Pank's.
I stopped in on November 12, 2024 to give it a try.
I ordered 1 twice baked spaghetti and 1 lasagna. Both were served with garlic bread.
I am very pleased to share that it is exactly as I remember it from those many years ago!
Miss K has owned this restaurant for awhile now. I don't know why I hadn't been in to check it out before.
I will be getting dinner here again soon.

“Only G*d and Peyton Manning get 5 star reviews.Limited beer selection, and I ate waaaay too much popcorn while hustling $100 from some local suckers at the pool table. I was pleasantly surprised to find such an inclusive establishment along my walk to DeKalb.Had planned to sleep on the roof, but couldn't get comfortable, so a truck driver offered me a ride. Well, it was the middle of the night when the beer and popcorn farts hit and they tossed me out of the semi.... Are there mountains in Illinois????? I have NO IDEA where I am at!!!”
