Small town restaurants in the Midwest can be surprisingly good! You will know by how hard it is to get a place on Sat night! The menu is extensive. Of course beef and pork are king - slow-cooked prime rib, a variety of steak and pork chops. But lighter proteins - fish and chicken- are also plentiful. I am from Canada. We visited this wonderful restaurant with friends from Deien Chevrolet. It appeared to me as a family operated restaurant as the owners checked on if all was going on well as they were working in the restaurant.
The service reflected genuine caring for this customers. The ambiance complimented the service quality.
The ambiance, food and service is awesome.

The always amazing Trenton House for the win on a Saturday night! Even with prom and no reservation, they were able to get us in right away, the service was fast & friendly, the meal was excellent AND a lot of food, needing two “To Go” Boxes. Highly recommend our choice of specials for the day, the Hunters Steak & Spring Penne Pasta with Shrimp!
