25 O'Clock is an incredibly welcoming place! The bartenders, atmosphere, and beer are all top notch! Would definitely recommend to anybody visiting. :)

Born and raised in Chicago, visited this place in Urbana and bartender started flirting with my girlfriend. Bathrooms had piss at the entrance. I wish I could give 0 stars.

A bartender threatened to call the police on my friend simply for laughing too loudly. Additionally, this bartender kept flirting with another customer making it difficult to receive service. I believe she mistook girls knitting and enjoying their time with one another as mocking her flirting when she was never a subject of conversation. It’s disturbing how quickly things can escalate to involving law enforcement—especially when directed at a Black person. Additionally, our law enforcement has more pertinent issues to handle other than a customer laughing at a bar. I will never return here, spend your money elsewhere!!!

Edit to add: I find it interesting this establishment chose only to respond to the patron who expressed receiving racist remarks from the bartender but none of the other critical reviews noting the same issue. It’s not looking good. An apology instead of doubling down would have been sufficient.
Horrible experience. My friends and I come here weekly and usually have a fun time. Well last night they threatened to call the police on my friend for literally laughing too loud. What type of world do we live in where things escalate so quickly as to call the police on a Black person, especially given the history of situations like these. What the actual hell.

This is the most friendly, non judgemental place that I have patronized for the last 5 years. Everyone is welcome, and it is like a family of like minded folks. Never feel uncomfortable, alone or with a group. They like to maintain a peaceful non confrontational tap room to enjoy great beer, trivia. Pool, games, etc Love this place Cheers

I would have hoped that you as the owner would have been more empathetic to the situation, but it does not seem that way. This is unfortunate as we have been coming to this establishment every week at the same time for months.

If you’re in a minority group and thinking of coming to this brewery, STAY AWAY! My friends come here weekly to catch up, have some drinks, and literally knit and crochet. Last night we were told we were laughing too loudly (is this not a social environment??) and threatened with the police. On an otherwise un-busy Thursday night, it’s clear why we were singled out.

Had such a great time at 25 O’Clock Brewing tonight! The vibe was super chill, staff was friendly, and the beer was excellent. I tried a couple different pours and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite — everything was on point. The space is cozy and laid-back, perfect for hanging out with friends. Definitely will be coming back soon!

Great selection of delicious, easy drinking beers. We enjoyed every beer we tried off their menu! The staff are super friendly, and we had a lovely time talking to them, as well as with the regulars. Free pool, darts, and board games, plus trivia. The atmosphere was low key when we visited, with a variety of good classic music, and friendly regulars. The space has nice wooden furniture, with wall murals and art on all the walls. We were very pleased, and plan to make this a go-to spot!
