This place is very nice and charming. I really enjoyed having lunch here. They have a good selection of food here you can try. The apple dumpling is very good!!! Staffs here are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very homey and comfy. A lovely place!!!

I had the Sunday brunch its one of the worst buffets I have had. Only two proteins chicken and meatloaf both of them were not good and the price of it was two high. $18.85 with no desert that's crazy.

Wow.. what a homey little secret! Actually we’ve heard about this place for a while; our grandmother said she loved coming here. We happened to be in the area today and remembered about it so we googled the info and saw they were open. So dang glad we did!! I got the homemade chicken & noodles and he got the ham beans and cornbread; seriously good and hit the spot! For dessert we shared the apple dumpling with ice cream. Apples aren’t my favorite but this was amazingly good, especially with the ice cream!! Our server, she was wonderful, can tell she’s been there and knows all the regulars and we love that! Definitely will take time to make the trek back over (we live about an hour away!) thanks for a wonderful early dinner!

We moved to Texas last year but will visit every time we come back to town. We have always loved the down home feel.
The taste of there food decline in the past few years. Prices went up. They used to be packed every day for lunch and dinner. Needs to go down in price and they need to cook like they did 20 years ago and then they will bring there business back
