Needed some pastry-fueled energy to complete our roadtrip and BakeLab did not disappoint. Ordered a few danishes, croissants, and cruffins to-go; these were right up there with some of the well-known bakeries I’ve been to around the US and abroad. This place is adorable! How did I not find it sooner? Everything was delicious, and the oatmeal cookie latte was just as great as the other reviews I've seen about it. Great place to be with fair prices and friendly service. Will be back, for sure!

This is a real croissant. Shatteringly crispy with tender center. I had the plain butter but all the options were there, should you want pain au chocolate or almond etc. Perfect laminate technique - real skill here! So lucky to have world class French pastries here in Urbana! Thank you!
