Jollof tasted like a week old, overpriced for flavorless food

Super tasty. I love the homey vibes of the place. Very authentic. Being raised vietnamese, i was missing my mother in laws ghanian cooking. For culinary demonstrations, definitely was up there in flavor profile and cooking. Portions were a little small but allows to taste many different sides instead.

Always awesome customer service and great dishes

Food was great and it was a great experience considering it was my first time eating african food.The only problems that came were the bill and the confusion with the way the menu is worded. Me and my partner ordered from the main dishes and it states you’re able to get a vegetable and rice. To our understanding we were able to get 2 sides with a main dish. The prices on the menu also listed items being between 11-15 dollars. My soup being 11, and my partners being 13. We got the receipt and they attempted to charge us 19 for the 13 dollar item listed on the menu and told us that in the system it’s 19 it just needs to be changed on the menu.We also had the issue with the sides and it actually meaning we only got 1 side and not 2. The owner was understanding and changed the price to what was originally advertised and removed the additional side.Again the food was great my only suggestion is to reiterate the main dishes menu, and update the prices on the menu to how they correlate in the system so customers are getting correct prices. It is also listed as a different price on the website so if you’re trying to estimate the costs of dishes before you go and budget I would suggest calling ahead to confirm.

The service was great. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Restaurant was clean and quite beautiful on the inside with music playing on the TV and decorations all across the walls. The food was not so great. When I received my egusi and opened it I was shocked at how brown and oily it was. It also smelt a bit burnt. It looks nothing like egusi soup and it's just literally filled to the top with oil and I simply could not eat that. I still ended up paying because the service was great but I hope someone sees this and the next time I come, their food matches their excellent service.

Food smells, looks, and, most importantly tastes phenomenal! The people at the shop and restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful (never been had congolese food until now). I suggest that everyone come here to not only try wonderful food, but interact with a genuinely compassionate group of individuals.

Fantastic food! Great flavor and great service. It was our first time having African food so we asked the waiter to give us what he recommended. So much flavor!

I have had African food numerous times it's always delicious, today was both my daughters first time trying beef stew w fufu..I loved it, the girls said it was different and they would try it again, the lady that served us was such a sweetheart also!

Delicious buffet with lots of flavor! Most were meat dishes, but I had plenty of vegetarian options to pick from. I will definitely return!

Wowwww The customer service is top tier! As I wait for my call in order they brought out a cup of water with a complementary dessert snack while I waited. I felt like a celebrity the customer service was that great! Bravo ?Now the food smells so good we was ready to eat it in the car our stomach‘s cannot wait! ? we instantly drove home the food was sooo hot and delicious lawd… mama Africa god blessed those hands. We highly recommend!
