Decided to try This location again. As I've had food quality problems here in the past. I ordered a 6 pc strip basket with gravy. Everything tasted ok. A little soggy. The strips were really hard. It was my lunch break so I ate fast. 3 hours later my stomach is bubbling. This is the only thing I've eaten in 24 hours. At the 6 to 8 hour mark. After eating. I have dishereia that is urgent and explosive. I've puked soo many times the blood vessels in my face are bursting. It's now the 12 hour mark. I'm still very ill. It's coming out both ends violently. I'm 30 years in the restaurant industry. I guarantee this place is unsanitary. They are foing something wrong
Because this isn't the first time. I'd warn everyone do not go here unless you wanna be stuck in your bathroom for a couple days.

This location is terrible.... All they care about is getting money but don't hand your food out correctly.....

Leaving food out of my order and when you call the restaurant you can't leave a voicemail cus the answering machine is full

Review written 11/10/2024. This Urbana location does not have nearly as fresh of food as the St. Joseph IL Dairy Queen location. If you can afford the gas money, better to go to the St Joseph one.

Employee at drive thru rudely gave up on scanning rewards app after 2 attempts as I was trying to angle my phone differently. I had to go convince her to keep trying. #lazy. Try learning some customer service skills. Lol

Have had problems with rude staff at drive thru window here in the past too.

Pretzel stick was hard as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.

Ordered 2 large pumpkin pie blizzards and they were practically vanilla. Just a waste of money and calories. I wondered how they were able to make them so fast. Probably by not adding any flavors. I also ordered a mocha moo-latte which was practically black with chocolate. The drive thru staff rushed me to take my card back, and I had to ask for a drink carrier 3 times. Wow. I won't be going back.

I went through the drive through an attempted to order a Small Mud Fudge blizzard with extra Fudge and somehow got a mystery Large chocolate blizzard with some sort of nut?

This is very upsetting because my roommate is allergic to nuts and did not know until they took a bite out of it.

The lady who took my order I had this restaurant in Burger King confused cause I travel for my job and I see quite a few. She was very very very rude and corrected me and I left and didn’t get anything and I think everybody should do that if you get treated that way.

I've already expressed to them why I am doing this, dairy queen is not doing their job. My family has came here 3 times and each time they have messed up our order and over charged us. And the customer is always right ?? We'll in this case they are manhandling for extra change for a order that got messed up and over priced will NOT be returning to this location. Today was the final straw for me.

WILL NOT be back to the DQ EVER AGAIN!!!! Would give 0 if I could! Staff was rude, my hot fudge malt was taking forever and then they came out with a hot fudge sundae. They remade it and handed me a hot fudge shake that had no malt! I did not stay inside as it was unclean. I love DQ so this is very disappointing.

We normally love Dairy Queen but unfortunately our experience at this location was very subpar. The food itself was fine- nothing special but not terribly disappointing. About what you would expect from DQ.However, the service we received was poor. After placing our order, we stepped away to find a table, but realized we forgot drinks. I went back up to ask for a water cup, and despite the presence of multiple employees behind the counter, none of them would look at me, much less acknowledge me. After waiting for a few minutes and not wanting to be rude, I finally spoke up and asked for two cups of water. The employee who looked up still didn’t say anything, but luckily someone else emerged and gave me 1 cup. I had to quickly ask for a second cup, at which said employee sighed deeply before begrudgingly turning around to get another cup.Further, upon receiving our food, we were not given utensils and were missing part of our order. When I went back up to the counter to ask for the missing items, the workers looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language before seemingly processing what I was saying and retrieving the items for me.TLDR: Food was fine, service was not. Missing items and poor customer service.

Got a notification that my debit card was charged for an online order to this location.....while I was at home in a different state. I called this store right away and was told nothing could be done and that it has been happening at this location. So they knowingly let fraudulent transactions occur and don't do anything to resolve and refund me for a $32.95 purchase that wasn't me. Seems like employees are doing the fraud.Edit. I did contact DQ relations by phone and haven't heard back from the franchise owner....probably because they are in on scamming people. Karma will get it back from them.
