Just had my first bánh mi from 83 and...WOW! Just superb! Succulent pork belly, perfect veggies, mayo and baguette. Absolutely fantastic and just what I've been looking for here in Champaign-Urbana. The owner is outgoing and pleasant and took the time to welcome me and invite me back. They run a clean shop and the attention to details are evident. Clients were attended to with kindness. and happy faces were all I saw. Consider me addicted.

I have never written a yelp review before, but I felt like it was my responsibility after eating here. Pho is my favorite food, and I have found the hands down best pho of my life. This pho is so good that it touched my soul. I don't think I'll be the same ever again. My experience there was a flavor metamorphosis. I will never settle for bland tasteless broth ever again.

What a great experience. From one chef to another… hands down best Pho ever! Super simple concept with killer dishes. This is what I call the Little Giants of our industry. A chef that puts all his passion into the food they want you to experience. So many restaurants are just smoking mirrors and have no soul left. Not here. The owners of this place wouldn't sacrifice quality for anything. They have no phone, because it would lead to people eating colder food.They choose the product over money. They choose your experience over everything.The service is a breath of fresh air. The food is indescribable.I probably sound CRAZY, but if you go in and talk to the staff about their business, you will change your mind and join my cult.Order the nachos.

I've eaten here a couple of times and really enjoyed the experience. First time trying pho and it was REALLY REALLY good. $17 well spent. The staff were really nice and informative as well.
This place sets the bar! Food is always great, and the service and atmosphere is what every small shop should strive for. I drive 45 minutes, one way to eat here, and I only regret not having a self driving car for the trip back!

Banging grub. I wanted to take my beautiful wife somewhere new to try, and this place seemed worth a shot. We had the pho, winter rolls, and pork buns. The pho was so good that it almost brought a tear to my eye. The staff were super friendly as well. We will return for sure.

The food at 83 is so authentic. Number one in Champaign hands down. Super friendly staff and owners, generous portions and every mouthful is incredible. We will be back!
