Ate here 11/24/24. $70 dinner for two served at room temp. and missing some items. They messed up 5 different peoples orders, as we were all waiting at the counter for our missing food. The pulled pork and mac n cheese were tasty, wish they were hot. Brisket was dry and chewy. Sausage wasn't good.
Overpriced bbq plates. Not a good value. $40 for 2 plates no drinks no extras. Should have stopped my order right then.
Mac n cheese was overcooked and just dissolved in your mouth. It was completely inedible.
The sliced brisket wasn't even completely sliced which made eating it with plastic utensils a pain in the butt.
I'm done with Hickory River. Never again.
This was probably the worst $80 we have spent at a restaurant! The Mac and Cheese… the noodles are cooked to straight mush, it has no flavor at all, Potato Salad was completely inedible… We took one bite and spit it out, brisket was tough, served with a bowl of sauce to try and make it better, the pulled pork so they call it was a blob of pork, had to pull it ourselves!
