Food was amazing. They helped us choose vegetarian dishes. Matembele was so good, but also liked the Ngaingai (without fish, and prepared a special way to go with fufu) she warned us was a little sour but I liked it a lot. I'm glad we got to try both dishes and the meal was very satisfying. The plantains were not very sweet but I liked them that way.

We had an incredible dining experience at this Congolese gem! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and authenticity. From the rich and savory Pork Egusi Soup with Fufu (my personal favorite) to the Spicy Pork and Salted Fish (Makabu), each dish was a unique and delicious experience. We also had the Pineapple Ginger juice, which was refreshingly perfect.

While it's a smaller, made-to-order spot, and food can take some time, the wait is more than...

I got it, I tried it, I loved it. I had been hearing how good it was and yessssss it was good. The store has just recently opened so there was no one there but that was fine with me I'm a loner anyway. The service was excellent and the food was piping hot!!!!! I don't live in Champaign so every time I go from here on, I will need some Egusi Soup and Fufu. ???
