Very misleading advertising, not very cleanly. Hardly any options.
Where do I begin…
I was looking for places open on Christmas Eve and of course all the popular places in town are all closed but then I saw Mashawee House and at first I was a bit skeptical since it only had 30-40 reviews at the time of visiting but I called ahead of time to confirm they were open and they were.
Now don’t expect this to be extremely fast. EVERYTHING is made cook to order and EXTREMELY FRESH. You can choose your kebabs legit right in front of you and they cook it to perfection.
I had a Kufta sandwich and a strawberry smoothie it was soooo good. I could eat it legit everyday and never get sick of it. The meat in the sandwich was so juicy and tender and the fresh veggies that were in it was the cherry on top. I got it as a meal, the fries were like diner steak cut fries almost like texas roadhouse and they were fresh and hot but just basic frozen fries but still great.
Honestly I have no idea why they aren’t packed to the brim. This place doesn’t cheap out on quality nor quantity. This is my new go to place in town. 11/10

Food is very very good. Nevertheless no one will explain you whats what in the menu and if you ask they answer in a rude way. Food takes a long time. Customer service needs to improve, I ordered something and I when I was going to pay I asked what the people behind me were eating and I just got a “it is a combo, different than yours” in the rudest way possible. Also apparently each combo comes with different things so it is like gambling. Once again the food is exceptional but with that service I don't think I could come back.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday. Even though the restaurant was not busy, the service was unfortunately poor. During the time we were there, the server brought incorrect dishes to three different tables, which shows a lack of organization in handling orders. Additionally, the photos on the menu or online do not match the food that is actually served. We expected a better experience!!
I eat here a lot, the kufta and chicken sandwiches and skewers are my go-tos. The wings are also great. Everything is made to order, the flavor of the meat is pretty special. It's good for takeout or a bigger dine-in order with a group, and the employees are good at making recommendations if it's your first time. I've also developed a soft spot for the soda brand they have, C&C, which I haven't seen anywhere else.
I just wanna say, THANK YOU for the delicious food you prepared for us! What an amazing meal we shared tonight. The food was so fresh and delicious. All the meats we tried (chicken, lamb, etc) were insanely tender and flavorful. The baba ghanoush and hummus were one of the best I’ve eaten!! I can’t wait to come back and try more stuff from the menu 🥳🥳 So happy this place is in town now!

This restaurant is inside the Strawberry Fields/ World Harvest shop. The atmosphere is very casual - you step up to the counter to order (but payment is done at the end of the meal, again at the counter.) When we first went in, we must have looked confused - the man behind the counter suggested that he could make us a "mixed grill", to which we readily agreed. For three people, this turned out to be 5 kebabs (one filet mignon, 1 Kufta (ground meat), 1 chicken, 2 lamb) plus an assortment of side dishes (baba ghanouj, hummus, tahini salad, pickles and pita bread). The food was excellent, and we had plenty left over. I especially liked the lamb. The plates on which the food was served were lovely - but it was a challenge getting individual plates for each diner, and they offer plastic forks etc instead of metal, which is troublesome with the meat and somewhat disappointing from an environmental standpoint. (Perhaps next time I'll bring my own plates and silverware(!) or do takeout.) The drink situation is confusing here. They wave you over to a bank of refrigerated display cases, to make your selection among canned and bottled soft drinks and water (it appears that plain tap water is not an option). Turns out that the two cases to the left are part of the store, and the two to the right are part of the restaurant. We didn't know that, so when it came time to pay, we had to pay for the mixed grill at the restaurant register and the (already consumed) drinks at the store register.
Best kebab in the area, I got the lamb skewers and filet mignon. Meat was crispy and tender inside.
We had three lamb skewers with hummus, pickles, and lettuce. Everything was very delicious, especially the grilled lamb. We will definitely be back!

Everything we tried was great. The hummus was delicious and topped with really tasty olive oil. The baba ganoush was the best I’ve ever had. Also the salads were very fresh.
The meat was really impressive. Super tender, juicy, flavorful. We had the lamb skewer and beef schwarma.
I can’t wait to go back and try more.

I ordered a beef shawarma from them, but what I got wasn’t real beef shawarma — it was just bread with some meat, and it was cold. They don’t seem to know how to make proper shawarma. I also bought a box of tea from them, but it was bad

I keep coming back here for a a filling, healthy dinner! The meat is always extremely tender and falls apart in your mouth. The food is cooked to order and is always hot straight off the grill. The order comes with a complementary side of bread, veggies, and dipping sauces while you wait for the main course. The skewers are my go-to!

Everything is more delicious than the last. The chicken skewers are a religious experience. If you don’t eat here, you are thwarting God’s will for your very soul. We have come three times in ten days, twice for dinner and once for breakfast. Incredible.
